What if we've created a better entry for a given heading, than one that already exists (but has not yet been "approved")? Is there anyway we can apply to have the new write-up approved?

Anyway I think - adding good information might just be helpful.

You could always submit your entry for approval - first in 1st served Even if you aren't 1st the subeditor will probably check both entries & combine the best elements of each
