h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

We are a family of five and still living in rented accomodation (paid for by our insurers) for last 10 months. Have had ridiculous delays from the nominated builder and the loss adjusters. They have been overly optimistic with time schedules, and have basically continually lied to us. For the third time the rent has not been paid by the insurers, who do this directly with letting agent. This is now 6 weeks overdue and being threatened with legal action. More stress! Help! Anyone else in the same very rocky boat?
