Interesting. According to your Personal Space, you have never written anything except for this posting... so I beg to differ.
If you'd like to post as yourself, then you might get a response, as we would then have something specific to talk about. Right now, it's a bit hard to help.

I saw the League of gentlemen tour show in Glasgow a few months ago and it was utter tripe.
One observation I made during the frequent and long boring periods was that the audience consisted of 95% males probably aged 25 to 35.
A strange and unenjoyable night.

I have to agree, although i would never dream of wasting money to see them live, the tv show is utter rubbish.
How the BBC of all companies justify the cost of airing this dross is beyond me.

You have got to be kidding?? It is the funniest show EVER!! it is the first time I have thought British people were really, really, funny!
They are clever and weird and adorable at the same time. I am trying to do an essay on " Is the British Constitution characterised by Prime Ministerial power" Help help help - Any, any idea welcome??

No you are wrong the league of gentalmen is rubbish, the funniest show ever is Father Ted. As for your essay, they have given you a meaningless question, furnish them with a meaningless answer.

Please can we stop this inane drivel. The League of Gentlemen is loved by those who like it,and disliked by those who don't understand it.
Whilst it is not to everyones taste or indeed understanding, it is nevertheless a leap in worldwide humour (they said the same negative things about Monty Python several decades ago),and very clerverly written and acted by a talented few men.
It is also a great characterisation of some of our most colourful and eccentric people that do exist in this barmy country of ours....
If you don't like it go and watch some tripe such as Last of the summer wine, men behaving badly or Hyacinth Bucket (never was there such a drawn out character in history!) which ,quite frankly,i could have wrote on the back of a postage stamp...

It appears you need a more sophisticated sense of humour, read posts again and look for, whats that word, oh yes "irony".
Although i do hate having to explain things, people do also like to have meaningless arguements as well, i dont think we need anyone to tell us to calm down just yet.
Do you see?
