This went considerably quicker than I though it would, but at least it will boost Taff's score a bit.

Could the reference to acid be in some way related to dissolution? I'm thinking perhaps the dissolution of the previous ruling family, leading to the Spanish Bishop and the French President becoming joint rulers.

Okay, I'll put you all out your misery. The thought in my head was 'A Ceded Reign' - that is to say that the reign of Andorra was ceded to two other countries, or rather specific representatives thereof.
