Jerry Hall was obviously the key to this one. But I find it hard to credit both Jerry Hall *and* the wrong Mitford *and* the only Mitford mentioned in the Independent review in a single post.
Of course, lightning does frequently strike several times in the same place, (particularly around volcanoes - did you know?) but on the other hand, many unexpected people have met Jerry Hall, several of them able pen a deft turn of phrase.
If I owe you an apology, then I do indeed apologise for my cynical turn of mind. I guess it was having the trout torpedo the Phoenix / Belgrano thread by googling the answer which has taken the gloss off.
Nuff, as you say, said. I apologise for depriving those who have posted of their points, but on the other hand I'm not claiming my elf points either.
It is, incidentally, a fascinating book.

No problem things like this happen...
I will take a look at the book on your recomendation, and she was the only one of the sisters names I could remember.
No apology required you ment no offence of that I am sure, as I say things like this will happen
