This is a lovely little entry
(the more recipes in the guide the less attention I need to pay to TV Chefs)

The only other thing I would like to see is if there's any interesting history to the Barabrith - any 'who created it' contraversy. But that's up to you

.

What size is a normal sized coffee mug?

Use just a normal sized mug, not one of the large variety, otherwise it won't fit in the tin.

Please note that the oven temperatures have been changed, I forgot that my oven is a fan oven, I have now compensated for that and put in the correct temperatures.

Have you put in temperatures for both fan-forced ovens and other ones?

So that's how you make it. I have been doing it all wrong: no wonder it never turned out right. I blame Mrs Beeton's.

A small question. I know it's stupid, but I am not the world's greatest cook.

What do you mean by mixed fruit? Dried? Fresh? Sorry, but believe me, I can burn water without detailed instructions smiley - smiley !

No the temperatures are for a normal oven, if you have a fan assisted oven please consult your cooker handbook as they vary between models.

Mixed fruit as is 'dried mixed fruit' i.e. currents, sultanas, candied peel etc. purchased in a bag from your local supermarket. Sorry if that sounds condisending it's not meant to be.

No no, not at all. That was exactly what I wanted to know! Having discovered tea was involved you see, I wondered if I had the fruit thing wrong as well. Thanks!
