I joined this site 23 years ago.
It's absolutely insane that it still exists, still works, still LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME (Alabaster user), and still contains the things I posted as a foolish 14 year old.
We are fast approaching a place where every child will have a documented online presence for the profit of others. I'm glad to have grown up when the internet was still the wild west, and to have experienced some of that here.
Maybe I'll show here more, do some guide entry writing. But I'm also fine with it remaining a diorama exhibit of days past.
I'm glad you're still here, H2G2. Thank you for still existing.

Welcome back!
The more the merrier.
Still doing the stylish supervillain RP thing? Your office sounds expensive.

I don’t think there’s anyone else left to play the role with, as it were. I wrote that something like 13 years ago and just left it.
…I still agree with the architectural choices, tho! Brutalist shapes with warmer materials. There’s lots of the TVA from Loki that has great interior design along those lines.

It is rather different from my sort of chaotic steampunk tinker-gnome priest alter ego who is afraid of heights, when it comes to architecture.

I think my intent, years back, was that the reception area reflect The Unbearable Weight Of The Law over your head in the interior design.
Searching for ‘brutalist waffle slab’ is probably as close as you’ll get to what I had in mind.
Alas my real office isn’t nearly as evocative.

My home office reminds me of jungle undergrowth, with all the cables crisscrossing over it.
