Great entry Giford
I saw "Amazing Grace" a few weeks ago - an incredibly moving film I recommend to anybody. Your entry tells the story in more depth.
Nitpicks:
<> requires a question mark at the end.
Your footnote needs to start with a capital letter.
That's all
to read part three

Looked up how to put ampersands in the names of organisations, as correctly spelt.
Also put in oh-so-witty footnote about the long names.

Dunno if anyone's suggested this yet, but shouldn't you specify that this is in the USA?

Um...
... looks like I should probably specify that this is in the UK! I'll add it into Part One.

eighteenth century equivalent of an investigative journalist
--> 18th Century
trained the sailors who made the British Navy great
- I think you mean Royal Navy. The British Navy ceased to exist when the UK became a monarchy again.
The second paragraph of the John Newton section has quite a few paratheses - is there any way you could cut down?

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
