I told my friend Nigel, that the war was the only thing worth thinking or bothering about, but the World Vision 40 Hour famine is coming up, and Jimmy's sponsoring some kids at school. Surely I can do as much? Can't I? Il Papa wants a fast for peace and that's a great idea!

Yes, Hasselfree, I heard something about that on the radio this morning... Interesting question - the result is the same for the Iraqis, declared or not! I've just been emailing a local radio station who thought they'd do an 'hilarious' breakfast show skit about human shields! The media in NZ are very gung ho pro-war, against (a) the view of the Government and (b) the view of 60% of the population! Why, I wonder? (American and/or Australian ownership, probably)

The rain was short lived here in Rotorua. I'm back to needing my sun glasses again today.
