I think that's the quotation, above...It's one of those old things people in my parents' generation say, anyway. School goes back today, and I should be working as an Education Support Worker, but the child's parents decided that they don't want to entrust her to me as I have "no experience of paediatrics"
Well, of course not!
It's a lovely sunny day, as they have been for about 6 days now, Sunday was especially brilliant, as it wasn't too hot - Just lovely. 
So, I look forward to getting another child as an ESW.. funny, I dreamed about my sister this morning, and she was offering me a baby to look after. What's *that* mean?
Well awake now, hungry as possible 
(rushed this morning, Jimmy ate breakfast but I didn't) so I am going to buy some groceries and go home to read Noam Chomsky. Good writing, that man!

Hmm why, do they think, would someone qualified in paediatrics work as an "Education Support Worker" 
Megan starts soon too, there's $300+ worth of nursing books behind me (student loan was deposited yesterday)

Beats the heck out of me, so I think the child's mother has not done her daughter any favours - poor cow will have to miss out on kindy!
$300.00! Ouch! I start a linguistics course on 17th Feb. Hope the books for that don't come to that much!
The sister was Carol. *This morning* I dreamed of her son Andrew, who'd written a story I was typing for him. It was called "The Island".
The Captain's birthday is on Saturday!

Saturday huh? Does that make you feel old?
After buying the compulsaries the total will be just over $500 (half of the corse materials loan)

Whew, at least you've got a loan... but of course there's paying it back. As a librarian here just said, nurses should be paid heaps more!
