NOT! All you people who believe that Christmas in NZ is sunshine, BBQs and beaches,I am so sorry to disappoint you! We have had what Quark on Deep Space Nine would call "glemmoning" for weeks now, and more to come. However, of course, we do not have snow, chestnuts, holly, ivy or zerotemperatures.
It doesn't seem too 'festive' with the War on Terror continuing, although we received yet another Christmas card today (thanks Nick..) 
In the sodden Christmas in the Park concert televised Sunday, an interviewer asked an anorak clad child what he wanted for Christmas; "A Gameboy"
"What about peace on earth?"
"Oh, and a skateboard" said the puzzled, materialist kid..
Despite what Peter,Paul and Mary said, Peace will not come, not any time soon, maybe not until the establishment of the Federation in (approx) 2163.
