Hey!!!
Yeah, my weekend was pretty nice. Yesterday I was in the zoo here in Berlin. It was nice although we kept walking the same ways, because no one really paid attention... The Berlin zoo is the one showing the most species in the whole world. Unfortunately that menas that many animals have to live in much too small cages...
Glad to hear, that you had fun, too. So if you were dj in a club on saturday that menas you are already at least kind of successful as a musician, doesn't it?
Today, I didn't go to school. I catched a cold. It's not that bad, but my throat is realling aching... So I just stayed home, drank hot tea and pamperred myself a little.
Have a good day and hope to hear from you soon, too!

Awwwww, are you ok kiddo?? sorry to hear that you have caught a cold. Getting soaked repedidly will do that to you.. =) I love zoo's, haven'6t been to one in years though.. we have the bronx zoo here the biggest in america... the treatment of animals here is verty regulated so their living environments aren't all that bad.. nothing compared to the wild but not bad for a zoo... As far as the dj thing goes, i wouldn't call it succesfull but i'm getting known a little in some circles... so feel better sweetie and i hope to hear from you soon..

Hey, Roja!
Like I said, I'm not feeling not that bad. At the moment I'm drinking Earl Grey which reminds me of mongolia cause the family I lived with there drank that, too... - Hopefully in a few days I'm as good as new... But thanks anyway - for your lovely words! I'm feeling already much better!
And concerning zoos - I know what you mean. Zoos and and botanical gardens - every year I tell myself: Go there. And I almost never make it. Therefore when my friend asked me if I want to come along with her and her boyfriend I thought that's my chance! If I make it to Berlin's other zoo and the botanical garden, too, than I've done my bit this year...
Hope to hear from you soon

Hey there, So what is that your drinking?? some kind of tea??? I'm more of a coffe3 guy myself.. even when i'm sick i love my coffee.. NYC has ome of the nicest botanical gardens in the world and i never get to any of them.. not to mention the fact that we have some of the best museums in the world as well.. I guess i sort of take them for granted seeing as how i live here and all. I really need to take a vacation and go to europe for a while.. I took 8 years of french it would be nice to try and use it. Go to a club in london drink some wine in france some beer in germany perhaps.. I have clients in switzerland and germany so it will eventually give me an excuse to get out there..=) Well anyway i am very glad to hear that you are feeling better and hopefully will hear from you soon.. have a good evening (it's only 1:40 here) and i'll speak to you soon.. by the way i'm Sean.. (just incase you were interested...)

Hey Roja!
- or Sean? Which do you like better?????
Of course, I'm interested in knowing your "real" name. Actually I like the name Sean. And I even know how to pronounce it! Thanks to Sean Connery. My "real" name is Jule by the way.
Earl Grey is a kind of tea, yes. Normally I drink neither tea nor coffee. I'm simply to impatient to wait until the water boils... But today I needed something hot to drink. I don't like coffee. To be honest, I hate it. But I'm thinking about training myself like it. The reason is fairly simple: It's really hard to get good tea here in Berlin in a cafe or something like that. But all in town there are now these coffee bars with all kinds of coffee... So, maybe I'll try it one day.
Museums... There are so many of them here as well but just like you I don't go there. Although some are really interesting - or so I guess. Well, maybe in the summer vacations. Okay, I said that last year, too. Okay, and the year before last year... But maybe this summer, I'll male it at last.
And I'd like to go to the USA as well. New York must be really fascinating. And I'd love to see the landscape. I really have a thing for wide, isolated plains without any sign of human impact... There are such places in the US, right? Or is it just a picture you get by watching too many movies?
Have a nice day and - well, 'til later, okay?

Well Jule, it is a pleasure to make your aquaintence. Roja Vemikin is a pseudonym (pen name) That I've had for years. Then again those who know mw as a dj know me as Parodox.. lol(real identity crisis goin on) but Sean is just fine and you can pronounce it (thankyou mr. Connery) Anyway i don't think i could survive without my coffee.. I have become a real coffee conoseiur... I bet if i made you some of my special coffee you'd like it, i have gotten many a non-coffee drinker to like coffee.... i'm like a drug dealer dealing caffine.. lol =) New york is wonderfull, The skyline the culture the nite life and especia;;y the food.. we have better food than anywhere in the world... as for the open rolling plains you'd have to go to the middle of the country for those.. they do exist but tend to get very boring i would imagine. =) Not much to do but grow wheat and corn.. ll =) New York however is open 24hrs a day.. anything you wqnt to do you can do whenever you want... I love it, but still i need to be more well travled.. Well sweetie monday is over and i am leaving the office so have a wonderfull night Jule and i'll speak to you soon..

Hey Sean!
The pleasure's most certainly all mine!
So, you're a caffeine-dealer, huh? Another job?
No, serious. As you seem to have some experience in turning innocent tea-drinkers into coffee-holics... What kind of coffee would you recommend for a beginner like me?
Good food in the US? Really? You know, American food hasn't got the best image here in Germany. So what is there besides burgers and donuts?
Have a nice day - or what is left of it!
Bye
Methos

Roja Vemikin Posted Jun 26, 2001
Burgers, donuts, hot dogs, hey what else do you need.. lol =) Well "american" food may be a bit boring but what we have added to other cultures food is outstanding.. Might i also add that i said food in NYC not in america... The rest of the country eats real bad coldcuts (sandwhich meat) and really bad pizza. However here in nYC we have the best pizza and sandwhiches in the world... we have some italian resturants that are said to be better than ones in italy.. We have thai food, indian food, greek, romenian , whatever..... Ya know now that i think of it what right do you have to critisize american food?? There is only so much bratwurst and sauerkraut that i could handle... lol In the south we also have tex-mex food like chili and enchaladas and such if you like spicy... Anyway, as far as coffee goes the feds are lookin for me fo pushin coffe to high school students... lol Actually try some good dark coffee maybe with a hint of chocolate or french vanilla add milk and some sugar to kill the bitterness.. I don't take sugar but many fledgling (new) coffe drinkers finds it helps them to aquire a taste for it. =)We've got starbucks here so gettin any kind of coffee imaginable is quite easy... Well kiddo hope you are feeling better and i'll talk to you later. (try not to over dose on caffine now that you know secerets)

Okay, I have to admit original German food isn't exactly gourmet kitchen either. Although there are some really tasty things like potato-salad (the cold version with mayonnaise, tomatos ... mmmmh!). Anyway I was raised more with Italian food. My father spend a lot of time there when he was a student... So I love pasta, pizza,... At the moment Indian food is my favourite. I really like spicy food. Curry and things like that. Chinse is also great. Oh, and I love bagels. There is this little place selling Canadian food near one of my universities...
The feds are searching for you? For dealing with coffee at high schools? Well, I hope you sell them clean stuff at least. And not some stuff spun out with something like chocalate...
Okay, next time I get the chance I'll try some sweet, milky coffee. And I'll tell you how the mission "get Jule used to coffee" is going...
I'm a little better already, although I slept kind of bad. Thank you for asking!
Your day just started, hasn't it? My watch says, it's 9:39 pm in New York... Here in Berlin it is afternoon already and as always I'm searching for reasons not to work on that paper about Mongolian animal-tales...
So, talk to you soon! And have a nice day!
Jule

Hi Sean!
I would have thought that there is some French influence of the in the Canadian - well, what people eat there...
And yes, you help me a lot in avoiding to work on that damn paper... It's not that I don't like the topic. Actually I chose it myself. It's just that I don't know how to make it in a way that will work in class, you know.
So, I hope you at least are hard-working?
