Angelfeet, here for a fleeting visit Started conversation Jan 23, 2003
I do not _need_ a gorgeous-looking copy of Shakespeare's solliloquys. I am _not_ going back to Waterstone's to buy it even though I have just successfully persuaded the nice lady at Natwest (who looked disconcertingly like Eoin O'Reilly who taught me maths and acoustics at Surrey) to give me a £1000 overdraft. (I must look trustworthy and reliable, the sort of person who can be trusted to manage their money sensibly. Or maybe I just look penniless and hungry. ) I did turn down the offer of a credit card, though. I don't need to add to my debts, thank you very much.
I can buy the book when I am in gainful employment.
I must be strong...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
