Hi opticalillusion,
I'm fine thanks, I'm a bit busy with revising for A levels at the moment - first exam is on Monday!
How are you?

All the best mate. I did mine back in 1981, and hated every minute of it. From what I've seen of you I think you'll do very well.

Yes, I am an ACE , although I've not had much time for it recently
Oh well, 1 exam down 7 to go, then I might find some more time!

Hi Star Fleet!
I'm not totally sure what you mean, do you want a link to a forum or a Guestbook which posts to a thread in a forum like this one?
If you just want a link you'll need to find the url of the forum, you can do this by going into the thread and looking at the url.
This produces 2 things, The ForumID and the ThreadID, such as the one for this thread:
F69939?thread=166148&latest=1
By putting &latest=1 at the end the link will always go to the latest posting in the thread.
So if you want to put a link to the latest posting in my Guestbook on a page you would add <LINK H2G2="F69939?thread=166148&latest=1">Click here to go to the last post
Or, if you want a guestbook like the one this forum posts to - you'll have to find the posting ID to reply to. To do this you will have to find the posting ID of one of the posts in the thread you want to use. You can do this by clicking on the reply button of the posting you want to reply to. For example, I've just clicked reply to the above posting (where you asked me the question), and I'm now typing in a page with the URL of AddThread?inreplyto=4023622. So you can now use the following code to make it reply to your posting:
I'm not sure if you need a PC, are you using a DigiBox? I'm not sure how easy it is to find the forum ID's etc on a DigiBox, but if it's difficult tell me which forums/postings/pages you want to link to and I'll help you find the ID's.
Let me know if you need any more help!
