if you dont like his music then dont listen to it ,its that simple.
im not been racist but if he was black nobody would say anything and thats the truth.
hes worked hard to get his far ,hes had such a crap life dont you think and to
make it worse soon as he comes famous he gets dished.
i think you should all give him a break cos after all he deserves it.

It is no wonder that the rest of the world thinks we Americans are ignorant. I just stumbled upon this site and started reading these messages. Am I the only person that thinks these previous messages are hardly legible? I am not trying to be rude. I am just being honest. If you are going to stand up for something, at least sound somewhat intelligent. Otherwise, no one will take you seriously or even bother to listen. That's number one.
Second of all, I do agree that Marshall Mathers "Eminem" is Not putting up barriors with his language and choice of subjects. In all actuality, he is tearing them down. If anyone has listened to the majority of his music, they would see that he does this to show how shallow and ignorant "our society" can really be. Not to mention how it is people like him that keep our constitution STRONG. He challenges the conservatives of our society that want to maintain a "sheep-like" state of mind. Cutting through the stereo-types that Americans commonly use without any regard or consideration for the people around them(not all Americans just the Majority...lol). Yes, he is drastic and incredibly provoking...but the fact still remains. That this is an incredibly intelligent, clever, creative, quick-witted, innovating man. Our country is what it is today because of people such as Marshall Mathers. So, Thank you Mr. Mathers and all of the American pioneers. America can always use a "reality check". I can only dream of provoking the change that you have.
