Hi there,
I am sorry to critisize such tiny details, but the Lord of the rings was published in 1954/55. 1937 was, as far as I remember, The Hobbit.

I think you're right about that. However I believe you could consider "the hobbit" as a prequel to "lord of the rings" as well since it provides the back story of how Bilbo gets the ring that he leaves to Frodo in part one of LOTR. That may be what the original poster was thinking of when they wrote the page.
