You know, Ive never "seen" the pyramids, nor have I seen the grand canyon, or stone henge with my own eyes...The wonders of the world should be a mystery waiting to be discovered. The key word in that last sentence was should. I will have no first glance of seeing them, I will have my preconceived notions, and narrow boxes to fit the wonder in. No beauty of innocence in viewing them naturally for the first time. Ofcourse there will still be beauty but damn those photos, and damn my televsion, damn my glass eyes. Sigh...

Dear Imaldris,
Don't worry about the Big Ones like The Pyramids, the Grand Canyon etc. I am forever going to London because I'm Still finding STUFF there that's new and makes me smile or go "wow", I guess I'm still a kid at heart.
What part of the world do you hark from ???
Regards,
Native Tourist.

Hallo Native Tourist!
I certainly agree that there is something new to find around every corner, 'specially for us openeyed hitchhikers. I'm just very disappointed...that a few things "first times", if you will, to experience things have been slightly soiled now. I've never been to London...I plan to at some point in the near future. But I plan to go everywhere someday. I'm from the U.S. ackshully, I babble incoherently from New York!!!
I get very disturbed at miniscule details...like first unadulterated views on things...I s'pose it's just my way. :smiles:: But there are still so many things that make me smile or go WOW as well. So many, i couldn't even begin to count...
Kindly,
~Imal
