All right. I'll try to explain.

My father is named Cid; my mother, Zoner. By my own personal reckoning, it's been ... quite a while since I last met either of them. [under breath] Particularly both at once.

I am actually a time traveller from the future. My past self -- or actually, my present self -- is also on the H2G2, but I've limited my contact with him -- me -- to avoid any temporal paradoxes.

The story behind the amount of time between now and my traveling back in time to now is best not told. A guy I know named Tempus eventually went into the Space-Time Continuum, and he can see all possible futures. Pretty much all he'll tell me of my future is that in every single future where he tells me too much, all hell breaks loose ... and if I tell to much of my past/future to someone not involved, it gets even worse.

I think you had best explain 'majora's mask'

Well, "Majora's Mask" is the sequel to "Ocarina of Time" in which a ten year old elfin boy named Link draws the Master Sword, suddenly becomes a seventeen-year-old, saves the kingdom (Hyrule), and goes back to being ten again.

In Majora's Mask he goes to an alternate world called Termina, in which several people from his own world have counterparts who behave exactly the same way they do in Hyrule. Some of these counterparts have entirely different jobs and/or social roles, whereas others have exactly the same jobs and/or social roles for entirely different reasons, which amounts to the same thing but doesn't mess with one's mind.

Well, Link has to get 24 masks which he uses to prevent the moon from crashing into Termina. Which he already did, and was left with four: one which, when worn, transforms him into a Deku Scrub, one which transforms him into a Goron named Darmani, one which transforms him into a Zora named Mikau, and one which transforms into the Fierce Deity, which bears a fundamental resemblance to Link's 17-year-old form. And he's used them in several of my past adventures.
