You'd think if I'm going to leave such long gaps between visits, I would at least have the decency to do something worth talking about when I get back... but no...
Well, I suppose you could call moving into my first honest-to-goodness, real, home-of-my-own a bit interesting... except that the Building Society actually owns most of it, by my reckoning, I can lay claim to a few of the doorknobs, and possibly the microwave oven. Oh, and the kettle and toaster are mine, they were presents from a grateful family ('Grateful' in the sense that they are glad I finally moved out!)
Now I have all sorts of new and exciting bills to pay, and strangely, despite all my careful calculations, budgeting and finger-crossing, I have barely enough money to cover them.
"Welcome to the real world", I hear everyone screaming!
