...when you let life get in the way of a perfectly healthy computer/internet obsession! 
There I was, with a brief flurry of renewed activity on h2g2 and what happens...? I decide to buy a house and the whole thing goes to hell again. There's probably no causal relationship between the two, I just took my eye off the ball for a second and forgot to log back in!
(When I say 'buy a house' I don't mean you to think I've actually taken possession of the place yet... the builders aren't exactly rushing me off my feet to get me in!)
Anyhoo... another Christmas & New Year been and gone, although I 'rediscovered' IRC while not at work, and boy but *that* can certainly bite a huge chunk out of a day/night/very early morning!! *yawn*
