A Conversation for The Film that Moved You Most and Why
It's A Wonderful Life

Resisting the opportunity to come up with a suitably pretentious film and being totally honest it has to be It's A Wonderful Life.
The sheer joy of human existence and the amazing innocence of belief that people are capable of true, altruistic, kindness always makes me cry and - for a while at least - makes me believe it could actually come true.
And Jimmy Stewart's ace.

I almost went for this one, I never get tired of watching it, if only 10 percent of human beings could act like this the world would be a 100 percent better place, obviously I'm using improbability maths there. Good choice of film.

Agree. It's a wonderful fim.
A friend and I do this whenever we're drinking... so I'll do it here:
To Jimmy! *raises *

May have to steal that one, hope you don't mind.
Currently we say "Milton Keynes!" which doesn't have quite the same ring (and is a blatant rip-off, anyway). As rip-offs go, at least "To Jimmy" is less obvious.

No problem.
Mind you it's also to tribute all his other great films: Harvey, The Rear Window, Mr Smith goes to Washington...

I see.
"To Jimmy in It's A Wonderful Life" may be a little long - especially when you're overcome by a herd of beer.
"Tosh Immy in It'shhh A Wonderrffffff Li..."
Hmmmmm
Still, you're right. His other films were great too. Should be able to get away with it
Key: Complain about this post
