I really wanted to write a spur-of-the-moment poem here, but it seems I'm not capable of that at the time. Alas, I'm to hungry (half an hour 'till lunch break) and my mind is numb with boredom. Each time I try to write something, I suddenly start inserting the word 'qwerty' randomly.
Anyway, if my mind hadn't put on its screen saver, my poem would go something like this (a '--' is one syllable):
I wonder why -- -- --
A thing that -- -- see,
It would have fitted in the --
And -- its -- -- knee.
Well, if Greenslade was telling the truth and this really is all in the mind, I'm sure you can think of some splendid words to replace the empty syllables with. Just remember to notify me when you sell the film rights.
