One false assumption required by Xeno to create the achilles and tortoise paradox is that an infinite number of things canot add up to a finite number. If you have to cross a room you do cover 50% of the distance then 50% of the remaining distance and so on.
0.3 recurring is an example of an infinite number of things (3/10 + 3/100 + 3/1000...) that adds up to a finite number (a third).
