I favor peace. I think violence is inherint in lifekind. In my opinoin, to deny it is folly.
I don't think that democracy is a real check on the use of force. If you had a lynch mob vote just prior to a lynching, the result would be 1 no and everyone else yes. The force of law is very useful in curbing democratic forces that might otherwise be used to opress minorities.
Violence can lead to peace. You just have to have the will to follow through to the end. Bombing and half victories like the Gulf War don't solve problems. Complete victory like WWII does.

there is more to victory than that. . .what campaigns where involved in?. . . few I am sure. ..real life. . .I took 5. . . and I watched. . .the Al Quida in Afghanistan are dead. . .
