O.k, I've decided I don't know enough people, either on h2g2 or in RL. So, I've decided to be bold and brazen and start introducing myself to people, and if they ignore me, well, I'll just cry.

Oh geez, don't cry!! Come to my barbecue!! I'm sure there'll be more people there eventually...
Anyhow, from what I've read of your postings, you are an interesting person with a good sense of humor, and if people can't see that, then they don't deserve to be your friend. And BTW, most people suck anyway.(H2G2 reseachers excluded of course, though not ALL of them)

Ummmm...Ican't answer that with just one film! It depends what mood I'm in, but my fave's recently are 'The Green Mile', Face/off, Fight Club, Girl Interupted....Fifth Element, Species Two....
...And a few fave oldies include, Monty Python and the search for the holy grail, any Tarantino, Dirty dancing (sorry!)...No, I really could go on forever, I can't pick just one!!! *gets quite stressed*

You really liked Face Off?? It was alright I guess, but I don't think it fits in with the rest of your picks, which are better(my opinion, sorry). What about Monty Python's Meaning of life? That's a masterpiece! And do you like Horror movies?

No, No. please dont tell her that i spend all day on the net and never do any real work!
Please dont tell her that i sit in the humanities block on the computer and minimise the screen everytime a teacher walks past.
Please dont tell her that i sit and doodle in my english book and write your funny haiku poetry rather than write about a physics experiment pertaining to squash balls and temperature.
Please don't tell her that i spend most of the day being chatted up by the computer technician!
I plead with you!!!

Face/Off cool, stylised, enjoyable, forgettable. I was surprised to see a Species film on your list! Personally, I didn't like the first one and I heard testimony that the second was worse.
My fav. film if I had to pick one, would probably be The Shawshank Redemption. (another S.King/ Darbont film production and Green Mile was just that - very good mind you - but just with some supernatural icing and Tom Hanks.) I'm a fan of The Godfather (2 is a fantastic squel - what's it's sorta famous for - and too long but I reckon No. 1 trumps it for story and sheer enjoyment value.) Citizen Kane is marvelous. Silence of the lambs, Fight Club and Ususal Suspects all feature highly on the list as well. Not to mention Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

...face/off...it's the camera work and the acting skill that gets me!
...I love anything by Tarantino 'cos he seems to strive to push back the boundaries...didn't like 'Shallow Grave' though(although I did!) 'cos it gave me an unnatural fixation with feet for WEEKS... 'Final Destination' is a fab film, as is 'seven', anything with a very clever storyline or an unexpected twist at the end!

Can't wait for Christmas - Lord of the Rings...if it doesn't live up to my expectations, I'm going to go to New Zealand and kill them all!

Funny, I think I've had this conversation somewhere else...we were talking about 'films of the book' and hoping Lord of the rings doesn't get ruined, again!! Cos if it does, I may be there smiting with you!
