Yes, I cracked one evening when I got really stressed about something, but I'm doing pretty well, I stopped again straight away. I'm going to a party this weekend, which might prove to be a bit of a test, but I'm pretty convinced I can do it...

You need to tell people early on in the evening that you've given up so that they don't offer you a cigarette later when a few drinks have passed under the bridge marked "self control"

Yes the most important thing to do is letting everyone know that you have given up smoking. The chance of getting offered a cigarette reduces rapidly when you do this.
Keep in mind that there always mean people who do offer you a cigarette because you have stopped. Those are the ones who are jaelous ( I can't come up with the right spelling right now) on you, cause they don't have the power or the backbone to stop. Just avoid those people (if possible).
