Greebo, there's a "Skies of Pern"??!!!!! *mouth drops, amazed because she only went to the bookstore last weekend and beheld no sign of a new book.*

*composes self*

Yes, hello MadHatter... I actually have a close friend who goes by that name, which is why I came to your page. I also want to extend welcome and greetings and salutations, and some smiley - choc. smiley - smiley The people here are wonderfully friendly, and there are many clubs and organizations here where you can jump right in on the action.

Enjoy your stay here.

Sheesh, I'm behind. Last I heard was Masterharper of Pern. I've got to get cracking. right now I'm struggling to finish the Science of Discworld, which my sister bought me for Christmas. It's the driest read on the planet - too much science and not enough Discworld. Then I have about 10 other unread books on my shelf to finish. My mom got me Net.Force: Breaking point, but I hear that's not really a Tom Clancy book in the first place; it's Ghost Written.

Well, I have four 7-10 page papers to write for Anthropology class by the middle of next week, so I'd better get cracking. Later!

Robinton was always my favorite character... followed very closely by F'lar, for reasons I don't entirely understand. smiley - smiley So of course MasterHarper of Pern was my absolute favorite book of all. smiley - biggrin

What's Skies about?

Zair... I was in absolute shock when he died... "Wait a second, you can't die! What are you doing dying?!" *sigh* That's why you can reread all the books, so he can come back to life.
