tried implementing that nifty bit of java on my homepage to see who's online when I am....doesn't seem to be working though.
probably something I din't get right but could you check it for me?

Sorry for the delay in answering but my 'puter decided it needed a Xmas holiday.
If it's the java on this page http://www.h2g2.com/A228052 then you need to change the page type to GuideML - you do this by editing the page & selecting GuideML type just below the edit window then hitting change type.
