h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

W was outside, on the balcony, having a cig, and I'd wondered out there too, to see how warm it is out (unusually, hot... warm enough to go out with just tee-shirt and leggings on today, no coat required, which is odd for October this late on ) anyhows... whilst I was there, as I useually do, I took the opportunity to do a few stretches, on my hamstrings... foot extended, raised up, heel on the top of the railings (above waist height... a little lower than chest height), and we got salutations from down, on the street... - One of our neighbours, lives directly in front of us; albeit on a different road, that heads in that direction, at a right angle to our own road... - We invited him up for coffee, but he declined, as he was off to do shopping, and instead, he surrended, that he and his husband/partner, would come round for coffee, tomorrow morning, instead - he was mightily impressed by my stretching... but wanted to know if I could do it with my other leg... so I did - and not long after I realised I used to struggle with my leg stretches, that* high elevated, only a week or so back (it would have been impossible a few months back)

Now, of course, as I realised yesterday, whilst trying to do some shopping... my fitness has generated its own problems... - I can't find any jeans that will fit over my quads/hamstrings -

Yes, it was weird weather today - cold this morning, but soon warmed up to be unusually hot indeed...

Maybe by this time next year, there will be redwood saplings on your balcony with you

(yes... come what may with the weird weather this year, spring coming I will* plant them to get them germinated in time to get into saplings, in time for some growth before winter/autumn hits...)
Last night was rediculusly hot... put a jacket on to go out... and so wished I'd not... even come gone midnight, on the way home, I was overly hot... ept my hands of course, which were going blue/white from cold, but they do that now, even when its warm - we were out at a band/DJ thing at the local Lesbian-run pub, nearby - was uncomfortably hot inside all evening... so could have been more fun, had I dressed more inappropriately for late October, and been in something way more summer-like

hoping we'll make it out tonight, to a gig at one of our regular pubs... work tomorrow at gym, and probably a training session for us, too, as we're there....

Bonus of last night, was talking to the trained dancer, now Drag-queen, at the pub, who's going to give me some private tutition on stretching, to get me even more supple which Is something I'm really working on Must go check on dinner
