2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

smiley - huh Its only ever a small, or short, matter of time, before the next level, or demonstration of weirdness, is ready and able to display itself, in its full oddity and weirdification. Thus as, ever, for it is to be, that, yet again, it has come to pass smiley - zen

So, we went to the pub, Thursday night. Which, of course, is, in of itself, not especially weird, as, in many regards, it is more akin to, or as of, the mundain, almost every-day. innit.
They had a lack of dark beers... In of itself, not overly odd, though more unusual, perhaps. However, they had one, somewhat darker beer, though this had the negative feature, of being 7.5%, way stronger than I normally drink.
However, given this situation, and that I know this to be a rather tasty beer, I did partake thereof. Numbering three pints.
not especially or even noticibly drunk, came home, shot up some growth hormone, had supper went to bed....

Clearly, however, unbeknown to me, a few thoughts, of the day, were rumbling about in my subconscious. Primarily, that 'we must do the towel laundry, and wash the shower curtain and bath mats'...

As, apparently, whilst asleep, I got up, carefully took down the shower curtain, folding it neatly, took up the bath mats, folding likewise, and then put these, downstairs, in the laundry room, ready to be washed smiley - huh

Of all the things I could do whilst sleep walking... I do smiley - bleep ing housework?! smiley - laughsmiley - snork

Was in hospital yesterday, for a endocrine clinic app... plus a growth hormone review, in the same clinic, with the nurses... - did my GH review first; hip, waist, and weight all reduced, natch... smiley - blushsmiley - diva and everything there going fine... - mentioned the difficulity now, in finding suitable subcutainious fat to inject in, so the nurse 'checked out my legs', and, in her words, 'You must not inject there, there isn't any subcutainious fat left at all'... smiley - coolsmiley - erm
Discussed a few odd mthods for injecting, including using the needle 'sideways', in order to get it into a deep enough 'layer' of subcutainious fat... and a method, of 'rolling' parts of one's body, against a wall, in order to create a suitable 'roll' of flesh, to inject into smiley - huh - but, basically I just have to use my lower tummy and the bits of my lower back I can stretch round to reach, for injecting smiley - zensmiley - nurse

Then had the clinic app, with the consultant... - we're going to increase my thyroxin dose, up from 50 McG levothyroxine, per day, to 75 McG, to see if that has an affect...

The consultant was smiley - wowsmiley - wow - about the news I've cured my osteoporosis, without having to take the poisonous meds for this...

She was also very smiley - wow - when I immeditately calculated the volume of the 50 McG per 5 ML liquid levothyroxine, I'd need to draw up for a 75 McG dose; then worked out the same volume requirement to achieve 75 McG dose, using the 100 McG per 5 ML solution.... - maths is seriously not the Drs strong point... I just can't fathom how they can't work out simple math like that smiley - dohsmiley - erm

Consultant seemed happy enough with my new way of taking the levo, half way through the night smiley - erm

She didn't really have anything else to say, and after seeing her, I went back to th enurses, to have blood draws, and discuss motorbiking around the UK with the hells angles... - of which one of my specialist nurses is a member smiley - coolsmiley - biker - the discussion included finding out about her consumption of JD whilst smiley - biker ing smiley - laughsmiley - zen

went to the out of town supermarket today, to pick up a few things we can't get at local shops, and to take in a trip to pick up a parcel, from the collection point (a large box of bodyshop goodies), and whilst there, picked up a cheaper pair of trainers for every-day wear (the old gym trainers are too trashed to wear comfortably) smiley - zen

The new supply of GH arrived today, so I had to dispose of all the expensive packaging it ocmes in, into the bin... a massive polystyrene box, cool blocks/packs/ice-blocks, etc - keeping the big cardboard box the GH comes in, though, as we're using them to more neatly organise some of the loft junk/things smiley - zen

Gym was Thursday, not Friday, due to hospital visit, and of ourse no gym wenesday last week, as we were at the heart hospital for a scan, although that was canceled, so didn't happen smiley - grrsmiley - erm

In otter news ... not sure there is any... smiley - alesmiley - hotdogsmiley - handcuffssmiley - pony

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

Unfortunately, we've had mad weather here this year... - the spring just didn't exist, and then we went into ridiculus high temperatures, recently; in the 30's C and upwards, during the day, and often not lower than mid 20's at night smiley - puff - we missed th eoppertunity to get them planted this year; as I need to germinate them early spring (as we didn't have any, I doubt it would have been warm/sunny enough, March/April/May to germinate them); and then this hot spell wouldn't have helped either... - so plan is, to get the stuff in, well in time for an early spring planting next year, so they get strong enough to be outside by the time summer arrives smiley - grovelsmiley - zen err... plus this year we kinda forgot/didn't get round to it smiley - doh
