2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

My back that is... smiley - bruisedsmiley - erm Not the consequence of an injury at th egym... Just started hurting the other morning... smiley - erm
Can't decide if it's the back itself, very low down on the spine, or if its the top of the pelvis, at the side.... either way its damn annoying... smiley - erm
Mind, so long as I'm moving, and standing, it is OK, just painful going from sitting to standing, and then on walking... until its stretched back to a more normal curvature smiley - doh
Hope its nothing to do with the two fractured vertibrey I know of, and hope rather a lot its not a new fractured vertibrey, as, due to the osteoporosis, such fractures can occur, even when the bone isn't under stress or pressure... smiley - doh
I'll give it a few more days, then maybe think about trying to see a GP, although I guess that will be fruitless, as I'm still waiting for the appointment, already, with the metabolic bone clinic, a year after the osteoporosis, and fractured spine diagnosis... err... actually about 14 or 15 months, I think... I think they DX them back last year in January time smiley - alienfrownsmiley - ufo
went to the gym as useual Tuesday, with the PT, but altered exercises a bit to take account of the back, but still did a good workout, half an hour on the cross trainer, at 70% HR thing, (about 125 for me ), doing intervals, and hands-free etc, then did some bench pressing, and some work on the exercise ball, plus a few other odd calasenic type things... a bit easier a work out than the 110 squats, plus other things, the previous Tuesday...

W is at hospital tomorrow, for a checkup, so as we can't go gym tomorrow, we did a gym session today... 15 minutes on the cross trainer, intervals, followed by weights (not doing deadlifts though, because of the back), though squats seemed OK so I did about 50 of them, plus a ton of bicep curls, shoulder shrugs, upright rowing, and pushes, and suchlike, with a lot of stretching thrown in, to keep me moving... - skipped doing my useual 250 crunches today though, because of the back....

Lunch was kebab... chicken breast cut into strips, baked, with onions, in sunflower oil, with some herbs, and I made pita bread... left a lot of odught leftover; some of which might turn up as a pizza base by the weekend smiley - zen pita came out fabulous today (I left it rising/proving whilst we were at the gym).

after gym went to surgery, to chase up the latest argument between us, the drug delivery firm, and the surgery, about who's slowing down the next delivery of the genotropin/growth hormone... we may have got somewhere, they're going to fax the prescription to the company, so I'll phone them tomorrow, and attempt to unwravel their lies over who's not done what smiley - grr 0- I'll run out of growth hormone by the weekend smiley - grr

taking extra prednisolone ATM, to try reduce any inflammation in/on my back... maybe helping a little smiley - alienfrownsmiley - doctor

in otter news.

Big drug raid by police, just at the ba k of where we live, basically on this street. oddly, since that, the street is quiet, and livable. and a couple of the shops in the street, have remained closed.... I wonder why... maybe now, I won't have cars and motorbikes outside my bedroom window all night every night smiley - grovel

made a chicken stew tonight. well, I say stew, curry really I guess, with the spices, scotch bonnets, and stuff... smiley - drool made enough for W and me, for three nights smiley - magicsmiley - chef and we had it tonight just with plain boiled basmati smiley - drool just under 400 KCal each, per portion, inc the rice smiley - zen I don't yet seem to have eaten 1000 KCal yet today... though that may change...

went to the pub last night, for muscle relaxiant. and, I've a strong suspescion, the barman, subtily 'came out' to us, and... then I think indicated a somewhat... proposal to us ... or at least an offer smiley - whistlesmiley - disco

right, time for this back to enter a very hot, magnesium saturated, perfumed, bath bomb-ed, and bath oil-ed bath smiley - runsmiley - zen
