2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

hurrah... it seems, for now at least... the freezing cold weather has abaited smiley - zen Once more we can go outside without severe pain from the cold on my hands, feet and face smiley - brrsmiley - zen

Got my testosterone injection a few days back, which has made a big difference too... to my mood and energy smiley - blush - I turn into a hormonal disaster zone if that gets too out of kilter... not just that hormone itself missing, but its affects on the other hormones smiley - dohsmiley - cdouble and, seemingly testosterone has some roles in modulating neurological things, including sound processing smiley - huh which I didn't know before smiley - zen - hence after the testosterone injection, before I'd even left the hospital, my hearing suddenly went 3D again smiley - weird
finally the snow cleared, so we could get to gym today.... not been in four days, the longest gap I think for over a year - and it felt it smiley - laugh nethertheless managed a ten minutes of intervials on the elyptical trainer, about 5 - 10 minutes doing abdoninal crunches, then about 30 - 40 minutes weights, mainly squats, deadlifts, shoulder shrugs, jerks, curls etc smiley - zen
Felt a lot better for doing the gym smiley - zen
After gym, another effect of the testosterone was also quite welcome smiley - blushsmiley - handcuffs err... by both W and me smiley - laughsmiley - blushsmiley - handcuffssmiley - bruised
had chicken soup for lunch, porridge for breakfast, and the remainder of the lamb dish I cooked yesterday (a curry I guess) - with rice tonight... no idea what we'll have to eat tomorrow... may get some more cauliflower or broccoli, as we've really enjoyed those, this last week, baked smiley - drool (tastiest way to have them, by quite some way, IMO) smiley - zen
Also tomorrow, off to restock Lush bath supplies, and a few other things from Boots, like my coconut shampoo and conditioner smiley - zen - may try again to look for a new pair of boots smiley - biker and probably look for a couple more long sleeved tee shirts smiley - zen and some new jeans (need smaller ones, all mine are way too lose smiley - blush ) - trubble is finding a pair high-waisted enough and with enough... err... 'drop' in the groin area; may go for jeggings this time, as I think they'll fit better smiley - zen

despite the cold we made it to the pub last night smiley - alesmiley - stout first time since... way back at the beginning of the week...
weighed myself last night, lost a tiny bit more, now seem to be 12 stone 12 LB, and a incy bit... smiley - zen - 12 stone 0 here I come smiley - snorksmiley - weird
In otter news.... I need a new watch, this one is way too lose on my wrist; I already had to get a new medical alert bracelet, when at hospital, as the old one kept falling off (start of last year I could barely get it on my wrist) smiley - laughsmiley - zen

Still need to do some more work on the leather jacket, though its coming on really well; wore it out a few times recently, to get a better idea which bits are still too stiff and need more work on them smiley - zensmiley - biker

ITIWBS

Getting an early start on St. Patrick's day with corned beef and cabbage, the corned beef in a quart container so it'll be readily accessible for slicing for sandwiches or chunking for stew.

Vegetables and broth in 5 quart container, triangular loading, 1 whole cabbage, 4 parts; 3 parts carrots; 2 parts onions; 1 part potatoes: potatoes added first because they take longest to cook and one wants them partially liquified; carrots next since they take second longest to cook; top up skillet with cabbage, cook till cabbage is barely tender, fish out corned beef, chill and refrigerate; add remaining cabbage and onion, boil till onion is tender, chill and refrigerate.

Misc. Herbs and spices added to taste during cooking.
