mine, that is.... This week, Thursday I think.... So W and I are going away for the weekend, jut booked a hotel today... Off to stay near my Dad's, and so get to see him at the same time, plus show W some of the places I talk of from back there.... We'll probably go out this Thursday night, too, for a meal
Yesterday was forth day in a row at the gym.... Turns out four days is over-doing it, but three is about right; the third day in a row, I did more, faster and easier, and felt as much, or more energized afterwards compaired to useual, but, yesterday, the forth day, was quite a struggle by the time I got to the weights but I still did half an hour of the weights after a ten minute or so warmup on the exercise bike
Back to gym tomorrow with the personal trainer, tomorrow will be a two mile jog/run, then 40 minutes or so weights inside the gym
We'll probably also go Wednesday, just W and me, no personal trainer, so Thursday is free, then back again Friday morning with the other personal trainer, before coming home, showering and heading off away for the weekend
Catching up on laundry today.... an aweful lot of tee shirts from the gym
Going to need some new boots soon, as my feet have dropped nearly two shoe sizes
Still going OK on the increased dose levothyroxine, although, conversely, not exactly noticing any more energy or anything since taking it either at the starting or now the doubled dose
Had my first miniquick growth hormone pen, fail, a couple nights back.... Think I may have attached the needle slightly at an angle or something; as I turned the plunger to mix the powder and liquid, the plunger just snapped off so had to discard that one...(these are the new single use syringes/pens I use now)
Starting to feel like it might be winter now... so I think for this weekend I'll just take my jeans to wear and whatever I've got in the way of slightly warmer blouses/tops... maybe even try take a cardi or hoodie with me
Breakfast today was black pudding on wholegrain mustard, on wholemeal toast, lunch was a tuna and salad wholemeal wrap, and dinner is probably oven chips with beans and grilled smoked haddock
Off bowling tomorrow night, after the gym so shall have to work out when to have dinner, and hence how/when to time medications having to time certain meds with food is a pain; especially if I'm trying to avoid 'having a quick snack' just to take the meds, as I don't want/need the extra calories
Last night was a bulghur, pork, mushroom err, thing.... goolash? stew? pilaf? soup? - sort of very tasty with spices (cumin and fennel mainly), and over 40 G protein, and quite high fibre too, which was god and a nice low GI Still deadly quiet on HooToo I see...

William tolerates my Father.... so, sort of exactly the same as me they get on fine actually.... the meal out on my birthday was very good and the weekend away was very good too, not least with a big cooked breakfast in the hotel each morning, and pizza out a couple of evenings, and a Indian restaurant out with William and my Dad.... plus a certain amount of
I took W on a five hour walk about my home town on the Saturday (good cardio!), and so he got to see the sea front, a few pubs from my misspent youth, and all the sights and sounds of a town falling to pieces into deprivation (the high street just gets worse! - everything is closing and turning into takeaways...) - kinda impressed myself guideing William round the town, which I've not seen since I was 17!- a bit hairy at times; mainly when I'm expecting a certain shop to be on a street corner, and suddenly discover its vanished some time in the last twenty five years or so - or the pub I'm expecting to find has changed name but I didn't get us lost once!
Sunday we were intending a long walk too, but only managed an hour.... - it started raining... then hailing, and was freezing... - luckily in one way; I had intended to take W on a treck into the fens, to a nearby village.... turns out I'd estimated how far away the village was quite a lot.... - in my memory its a few miles, maybe 3 away... in reality apparently its more like 10 miles away - but we got to see a good deal of the place, and the hotel even had a fabulous view for W, of the broad and river (and the hotel was so cheap, as its off season for tourists) - and I swear the 'old guys' sitting in the front bar of the triangle tavern, were the same bunch of 'old guys' who were in that tavern, in 1992, the last time I was there! some things never change
but.... but...
today, after gym, I showered... and horror of horrors, had to go for a weigh in! - drinking beer every day whilst away... and some lunchtimes (when it was wet), plus all those cooked breakfasts and takeaway food, and not* counting calories -
I put on... zero weight! - how the eck is that possible?
great session at the gym today, with the personal trainer... - nice and quiet to ease me back in? nah...... running on the tred mill, push ups, and push ups and weight lifting whilst balancing on an inflated ball.... steps up and down thinhg, weights... and all manner of slightly different things to normal, which is always good to trick the body... I was drenched afterwards and my legs are noticing now having missed the gym on Sunday - so back to gym tomorrow
