2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

smiley - wow New dress arrived today.... From EBay, still with original shop tags, including the price tag in it.... - price tag was £50, its fro Debenhams.... and I got it for £4 (plus a couple quid postage) smiley - zen

and.
Its a size 20.
and... isn't exactly tight on me smiley - wowsmiley - diva at the start of this year, the size 24 clothes were getting tight smiley - coolsmiley - boing

went to gym this morning. Still aching from Tuesdays gym with the personal trainer, today no trainer, just W and me; W goes to do his bits, once I'm in the weight room (we do the bike first in the cardio room); I know my way round the weight room now, today I started with the squat rack nearest the door, which is useful as I can do a whole bunch of weights there, without having to change equipment. Squats, bicep curl, shoulder shrugs, dead lifts, verticle raise, the upside down hands bicep curl (not sure what that is called). smiley - zen
Next to that squat rack is a bit of equipment, with a pully type thing on it... and now I've figured out how it works and I c an adjust it;
first with the 'rope' attachment; on my knees, and bending forward, pulling down on the weight, to do abs, then raising up the pully bit of it, and adjusting to the 'handle' attachment for 'pull' type things... either the same as rowing type action or more like doing bench pressing, but whilst standing... then I went back to the rack, did another 50 squats, 2 sets of 20 dead lifts, another two sets of 25 verticle presses, and 4 sets each of 20 on curls and shoulder shrugs.
seemed to get a lot more weight lifting done in the same time today smiley - weird - before the weights we did a warm up on the bike, same time, 10 minutes, but I got a half a KM further in that time today smiley - erm 4.5 KM rather than 4 KM smiley - zoom
plus the walk there and back of course.

The new hummus I made yesterday; experimental chili hummus MK1, is amazing smiley - drool - also now at even lower calorie, I've reduced it down to 31 calories per portion (portion being enough to spread on one bit of toast) smiley - zen

eggs on hummus on toast for breakfast.
sardines on hummus on toast for lunch, with cucumber.
fish tonight I think, with potatos and salad smiley - zen

Oh, and got a letter from consultant the other day, now increased levo dose, up, to 25 McG of the liquid levo per day (2.5 ML of the 50 MCG per 5 ML oral solution) - GP didn't argue about script change this time smiley - zen
In otter news.... actually think that is about it... oh, cept we took a massive black sack of clothes to the charity shop a few days back; all stuff that is too big for me now smiley - zensmiley - diva I think its my birthday soon smiley - yikes we may or may not go away that weekend... smiley - alienfrownsmiley - doh

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

by halfs? nah.... so just not my way smiley - laughsmiley - boing afterall; now I'm immortal, after my radiotherapy-acquired superpower smiley - biggrinsmiley - sillysmiley - snorksmiley - zen

Today was gym again, today with personal trainer... smiley - weird - OK something definitely happened in last few days; just suddenly made leap forward in exercise tolerance and suchlike.... 60 abdominal crunches with 30 Lb weight (yeh, yeh, cardiologist says not to lift more than 20 KG- but its not like your lifting the weight on the abs machine, just... moving it a bit using back/ab muscles) smiley - alienfrown 60 lat pull downs, 60 seated rowing (pulling a thing, does bicep muscles I think) err, that was after a short warm up on bike; personal trainer pointing out to me, my heart rate is now, after the same duration and intensity on the bike, as useual, about 40 lower than it was when I started with this trainer... smiley - cool (at the opposite end of training, my HR was 107, just after all the weights, not 120 or more, as it used to be...)

anyhow, after the lat pull downs, abdominal crunches, bike etc (all in cardio room), we went to do the weights.

I've just gotten faster... squats, 20 KG X 20 reps, X 3 sets, with no gap inbetween;' instead, inbetween each set, I do 20 reps of the shoulder shrugs.... smiley - weird - next 20 reps with the 20 KG bar, bench pressing, and 3 sets of that...

we'd gotten through the weights in 2/3 of the time it useually takes... so; preacher bench, curls... - that is a weird thing... but I guess I can see what its doing...

last time I did two sets of 10 reps. today did three sets of 14 reps, I think that is a 10 KG weight on the bar, plus whatever that bar weights (about 7 KG I think) smiley - zen -

then back to cardio room, for warm-down, on the bike, which didn't take long to drop from 108 to under 90 HR smiley - zen - then a walk home, via Turkey supermarket (fruit, mushrooms and tea), then to the butchers, for venison sausages, black pudding and eggs smiley - zen

Lunch was a wholemeal wrap with tuna and salad and coleslaugh smiley - zensmiley - fishsmiley - drool

Dinner was the leftover new potatos from yesterday; lightly coated in olive oil, and grilled, with lots of black pepper, with two grilled venison sausages each (127 G sausage each), and with half a tin of baked beans smiley - zen - an apple and banana for my fruit for the day, for dessert smiley - zensmiley - magic

smiley - zen I've got some muscles on my forearms I've never seen before smiley - laugh - plus some new ones suddenly appeared on the top of my chest smiley - yikessmiley - laugh

nothing else of any note happened today I think... smiley - erm I showered after gym... and now I'm boared... which may mean some of the excess exercise calories, for the day, above my 1500 KCal net goal for the day, may have to be spent in the pub.... smiley - whistlesmiley - ale

and, I still need to buy a new corset... I've three and they're all way too large now smiley - laughsmiley - divasmiley - zen nothing much on tomorrow.... so if I can't think of anything else to do, I think I'll just go to the gym again smiley - laugh - before our regular night out tomorrow night, with the LGBT crowd smiley - ale (I discovered a skirt I forgot about, which I may wear tomorrow night... err..... basically a school-girl type grey school skirt... with th epleeting at the back... smiley - whistlesmiley - evilgrin )
then, sunday its gym again..... then gym Tuesday, Thursday is my birthday, so probably gym, long bath, then out in evening for a meal, maybe pub.... we may go away for the weekend; so that would mean gym Friday morning, then home to shower, and off to catch the train smiley - puff and back home on the following Monday smiley - zensmiley - puffsmiley - boing Oh, and I did a few sets of pushups and situps and stretching, this afternoon (as I rarely do enough stretching after the gym.....) smiley - zen - my new 5 KG bag of epsum bath salts should arrive later in the week smiley - zensmiley - drool oh, and some magnesium 'spray' on order too, to add to the tablets I already take as the magnesium seems to make such a difference (people with my hormone problems, often hav a problem with magnesium, and other minnerals, due to impaired absorption and increased secretion of them from the body) smiley - weirdsmiley - zen

breakfast today was boiled eggs on homemade chili hummus on toast smiley - zen (with extra salt, which I also run low on for hormonalk reasons) smiley - zen
