2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Sep 3, 2017
finally managed to sleep last night, first time in 72 hours by the time I got into bed... took about an hour to fall asleep as useual, so was awake for 73 ours I guess
Felt a lot better due to that, this mroning....
Second dose of the liquid levothyroxin today, half an hour before coffee, an hour before food, and so hence an hour before the steroids that I have to take with food.
Its such a tiny dose, that when I squirt the syringe of it, into my mouth, I just let it absorb sublingually, and barely swallow much then... - maybe this will help with gastric side effets (I hope)
not sure if its a side efect, too early to tell, but felt a bit dizzy this morning, sort of light headed... very hard to describe; its like the 'entire visual field' is vibrating, side to side... - only of course I don't have any visual field, so, its more my 'perceptional field' which, err, really doesn't quite describe it...
Was wondering that it might be a signal that my steroids are low; still on same dose, but of course, adding in other hormones, can alter the bodies requirement for the steroids.... - but after the gym, I felt fine. more than fine; the light headedness and/or dizzyness had passed (so its not cardiac or cardiovascular as I'd have thought taht to get worse on exercise, not better), - likewise it can't be hypoglycemia, - not being hypoglycemia, probably also rules out it being low cortisol (due to connection between blood sugar and cortisol, and the connection/interplay of cortisol and inslin) - felt so much more myself after the gym, fatigue and sleepyness had gone which is good (so probably was just ordinary tiredness ) - no diarrhea yet with the liquid levothyroxin, which is rahter nice
Didn't exactly do as much in the gym as I'd hoped, struggled to complete some of the sets on the weights, but again, that might just be tiredness or the four pints I had last night
Breakfast was grilled bacon, on a grilled mushroom, with 20 G of melted brie in the mushroom
Lunch was a new invention.... bulghur and jalapeno and houmous salad, with lettuce cucumber and red pepper... gorgeous and only 202 KCal (roughly) cooked up extra bulghur, so there's the same left bulghur for tomorrow, for something... Net calorie intake today 70 KCal, having taken off the calories out from walking and the gym
Probably a stir fry tonight, probably n noodles, last of the bel/red pepper, a large flat mushroom cut into strips, onion, and probably a pork steak cut into strips (one steak then goes a long way and is more than enough forf both W and I)
Excitement planned for tomorrow, includes laundry... and.. not sure anything else much....
popped into the international on the way home, got more fruit, ginger 9for the stirfry), more houmous, as ou can't have too much houmous in the fridge, and, err, something else I've forgot....
then got milk and bananas from nextdoor when we got home... had an apple and a pear today, after lunch, for my fruit for the day...
may go for a nap soon, after more

Do you have wifi in your bedroom or a smart phone near your bed? These can be known to interfere with sleep.

No computer, mobile/smartphone, tablet, IPad, computer, or any such in the bedroom.... - there's WiFi in the house, braodcast from down in the front room - no idea if theres computery stuff in the nextdoor room, as that is the neighbours side through there - the hormonal mess ups in my body, esp the adrenal gland and steroids stuff, seems to make me hypersensative to noise, and this road can be randomly noisy at night; useually drunks passing by this route as a shortcut home from the centre of town and nightclubs etc, so that problably doesn't help, plus even at night there tends to be traffic about at random times - I find almost any noise now almost intollerable, which isa bit tricky for me, as I'm blind, but even just now, the sound of the wireless in the background, with the midnight news on, is making it nearly impossible for me to concentrate or be able to hear the speech/screen reader on my computer, in this room; the radio from the front room isn't loud at all, but the combination of differnt noises; the fan from this PC, the radio in the other room, then listening to the screenreader on this computer, - its like it becomes overweling to my brain and it can't properly process the sound of what I'm doing; its a little bit like any level of background sound now makes me utterly deaf to anything in the 'foreground' I'm doing... - ultra loud sudden noises do actually make me feel physical pain; lke a police car, or ambelence suddenly sounding its wail whilst I'm walking down the pavement; already with the noise of traffic, the sudden noise physically causes pain inside my body, and head; I useually end up covering an ear to try block the sound out - but mainly I guess my sleep stuff is my messed up serkadian rhthem; true I take melatonin to try reestablish my serkadian clock each night; but melatonin is but one part of the bodies serkadian rythem setting; cortisol one of the hormones I'm missing is produced 'normally' under a 24 hour cycle, partly in response to melatonin, but it seems to work from a few aspects of other internal setting of the clock, and as I only get cortisol (albeit synthetic), in tablet form, its making my serkadian rhythem even more out of normal range, I think things like thyroid hormones are also serkadian; in men also testosteorne and GH are secreted at night, in pulses, and again I get testosteorne once every twelve weeks, in a single injection, and the GH I do inject at midnight, to be as close to bedtime as possible, to try and mimick the serkadian release of it as would naturally happen - Plus I've always been rubbish at sleeping... - doesn't almost make much differnce soemtimes, I seem to function about the same if I've slept 2 hours, 6 hours, or not slept in three days at all slept alright the last two or so nights though, whcih is good Mind, I think the beer probably helps with that the last couple nights <

Yes, you might be getting wifi from the neighbours - I've noticed that I have dozens of wifi if I look for it on my computer, though I use a hardwired connection. I've refused smart meters, which are actually worse, but I'm not sure if my neighbours have it. I might be an EMF meter to find out what exposure I have.

Oh; in terms of picking up nearby WiFi; I can pick up about thirty WiFi networks here, from shops underneath, over the road, and houses on both sides and opposite etc - I get a lot of low frequency sound I more 'feel' than hear, and most people I say 'can you hear it', say no they can't - never sure if I am really* hearing it, feeling it, or its some weird halucination or, indeed, some aspect of my dammaged nerves, from perlipheral neuropathy (if indeed I do have perlipheral neuropathy, as they never bothered testing me for it, just assumed it was that, affectin gmy fingers, as it occured whilst I was on the chemo drug which is very commonly causing it as a side effect); only, of course, it isn't just perlipheral 'feeling' nerves in you fingers, or feet that can be affected, so maybe its some weird ' 'vibration' I think8 I'm sensing, when its actually screwed-up vibration sensor nerves in the body firing incorrectly - I know from my messing about with recording software I can hear bass frequencies in music down to 20 Hz (and yes my speakers put sound out that low and beyond); below 20 Hz I was never quite sure if I was hearing or just feeling it - but is anywhere ever far from a WiFi source thesedays, even if we don't have it ourselves, neighbours do etc...
