2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Aug 1, 2017
several. in fact.
Went to the gym today was filmed because I'm such a good girl, and I've progressed so much they appear to be using me for some promotional videos fame at last
Did squats, 20 KG about five sets of 20 reps, did some bench pressing, 20 KG, 20 reps, and four sets, then did some inclined bench pressing.... which I only started doing recently, and still struggle with - today finally got up the reps, to match waht I do on the regular bench pressing so did a couple sets of 10 reps, then at the end, pushed again, and got two sets of 20
did some pull ups, 'dips', and leg raises/lifts etc, in the weird climbing frame cage
Did a million starjumps then went outside and did a short stint jogging.
OK. I honestly dont' care what endocrinology say; My breasts have grown. err.... a lot If I'm to do any more jogging, I need* a sports bra, that... odd sensation (well its new to me), was my bouncing - no, they're not man-boobs, wrong shape, and I'm losing weight and bodyfat all over, some is probably muscle bulk, but the actual are increasing in size, beyond the muscle mass behind - endocrinolgy refused last time I bought it up, to even contemplate the idea they're increasing in size, as, basically they didn't want to check my oestrogen/oestrodyle levels; as if high, they'd need to put me on the enzyme blocking medication (I can't recall the name of), which blocks the enzyme, which in a male body, converts testosterone to oestrodyle, - this can be a problem, when, like me, you don't make small amounts of natural testosterone each day; instead I get the one massive depo IM injection, every 16 weeks, so the huge influx of the testosterone into my body, from that, creates over- activation of that enzyme, and hence a lot of testo is converted into oestordyle.
Mind, I'm happy enough to grow my own even if it is a bit odd to say the least
Second revilation.
letter from endocrinoolgy....
Dr consultant, has, (she wrote this in an almost 'shocked' tone of writing), she has... spoken to a pharmacist, and discovered waht I already knew, that liquid levo does exist.... so finally, they're talking about trialing me on liquid thyroid/levo...
Also, got all my bloods, all of which look good, GFR is great as useual, all my blood counts look good, T3 and T4 low as expected, colesterole through the ceailing again (mention yet again they may do something about that) most of the rest are faily normal, my HBA1c has come down a bit, which shows my diet is helping reduce the diabetes risk Slightly elivated on one liver enzymme, and my PSA is higher than it was, of course; but it was so ultra nothing, when I had zero testosterone, and we don't know what my 'normal' PSA was, when I was still able to procduce my own testosterone
Everything else looked pretty bland and mid range 'normal', oesinophills, basophills, lymphocytes, hemoglobin, etc... No testostterone measurement, which seems odd not to have done, whilst they had the in my arm - I still dont' think the hospital quite gets or understands the meaning of 'monitoring'
I'm booked in for an X-ray of my broken/fractured spine, and we can attend that whenever we want; as we're at the hospital tomorrow, for oncology 6-montly checkup, we'll just go in early, and try get that done then; I'm hoping the endo bloods here, will suffice for the oncology app, tomorrow, so they won't have to bruise each of my arms, multiple times and windge at me for having rubbish veins but if they do... they do... I should really offer myself to the hospital for trainee nurrses to practise on my rubbish veins... they're rubbish, so would be a good challange, and as I cna't feel the needles anymore, I don't really mind; true I bruise and get ruptured blood vessels from it, but I cna't really feel the bruising either, so that doesn't matter
off ten pin bowling tonight but now it must be lunchtime, then I really must shower

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this.
They are young children, old enough to have thoughts and some beliefs of their own, but children nonetheless.
they need, no, require, a guiding hand, to be directed, and yes, in some ways manipulated, into the direction that they need, if not want to go. Often, this is slight 'nudging' of the fhild, into the direct and course of action they want to take themselves, but perhaps they lack the know-how, confedence, or knowledge, to realise this is the direction they need to go in.
----------
I just dictated a letter, which William wrote in rough, and now he's scribing out in formal neat, to take into hospital, to leave, there, at endocrinology for my child, sorry, my consultant.
The letter, says, in simple, but accurate, well-written, non-interipable text, and paragraphs, exactly what it is she has to do; in following on from the letter she wrote to me.
It confirms I have spoken to my pharmacist, who not only can obtain the medication, but whom will also, for me, titrate my daily dose, into a months supply, of single doseage bottles, and thus enable mt to take the medication.
The letter further explains; the consultant/child needs just to prescribe the medication, and* then; TELL ME SHE HAS PRESCRIBED IT.
additionally, it asks that she provides a start date in the near future for me to begin taking it; in order than that any interaction of it, with other medications I'm due to start soon, do not occur, immediately; and in order any side efects are able to be deliminated apart, and associated with which medication is causing them.
It additionally, tells her, to provide a starting date, and do this in order that meeting with NhS, British Thyroid association and BMA guidelines, I can have my levels monitored 6 weeks after commencing treatment, in order that dosage can be modified as required, to obtain a daily dosage, able to achieve normative blood range for target hormones.
The child, cannot misinterprit what we've written, and surely even the idiots there, can follow simple instructions
Children need to be treated firmly but fairly. And just guided into the right direction when needed
Off to hospital early, to get the X-ray done, then pop this letter into Endocrinology, then we can go to oncology for my 6-month checkup thing however, as we've no idea how busy X-ray will be, and we dont' have an appointment time, just 'turn up' and get an X-ray done' letter, we're going to have to leave quite early, to try get enough tiem for the X-ray before the oncology app, so we'll have to spend probably half the day at the hospital.
There is no cafe at the hospital.
Rather, there are lots of cafes, al franchised out to costa. Costa don't serve drinkable coffee - mind, if the X-ray gets done quickly, there is a pub not far from the hospital, which might help pass the time before the oncology app.... or we can go round the corner on the hospital site, to the Maggie's (cancer charity support place), which is always nice to visit (and get some free cups of )
now.. what should I wear today?
jeans and tee-shirt kinda day?
Or... my purple cow dress, with a suitable belt on it (very purple, very long, sheer matterial, not waisted hence it needs a belt... kinda striking to say the least ), or... I could put my leopard print dress on.....

Good idea on the letter.
I'd almost be tempted to enclose a copy, to be signed, and a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) for confirmation.

maybe that would be a good idea in future... I gave my E-mail as well as phone contact on it, although teh hospitals here, seem obsessed with writing things on paper o and posting them - we handed it in to her secutary today, then I went up and got X-ray done on my spine, which was really quick with no waiting and the technition liked my joke (and got the reference), when I told her 'I used to have a pair of X-ray glasses.... came off of a magazine when I was young'...
We had lots of time to spare, so went over to the c cancer charity support place, who hadn't seen us in ages, and had some and there (why do cancer patients be force fed cake all* the time ), before going to my oncology app... - that was a 6 monthly checkup, but as I've been in remission two year or more, and no signs of any cancer, I'm now moving to a once yearly check - the Dr who had seen me before, was when he saw how much weight I've lost and how fit I am now took a lot o f time though, the whole day, as we got there early, and then travelling there and back, so had a late nap, and so cooking dinner now, late, and won't probably be eating now until about 9.40
Key: Complain about this post
