OK. the little under the worktop 'chest' freezer (it has drawers actually so probably not a chest freezer), which I bought in, I think December 1999 or perhaps early January 2000, was a little .... full of ice, to the point of not having much room in it, for like actual food and stuff, so, figured it oughta be defrosted....
OK... I thinks, that* much ice, melting is gona take a long while, and, create an aweful lot of water on the floor, and well, basically flood the utility room, which would upset the washing machien and tumble dryer, adn quite probably leak under the door and on to the carpet in the studeo room/computer room.
ahh. Me thinks. fabulus idea. unplug the freezer.
move it through the kitchen, and out onto the balcony, leave the door open, and it can all melt and drain away down the drain on the balcony, down the down pipe, and out into the drain on the street below
wow. worked perfectly, within a couple days it'd all defrosted, and the inside of the fridge was loverly and clean, well aired, etc.
Then we had terrential rain all over the freezer. ahh. oops.
left it out a day or two, to dry in the wind, then moved it back into the utility room, and left in the end about a week....
I plugged it in today.... and then, preparing myself for the inevitable..... flipped the switch on the socket....
its never worked so well and its supprisingly large a freezer, now its not full of ice
gona do an online shop for the frist time in ages, to stock up on frozen chicken portions, and frozen fish fillets etc to re-stock supplies, and some frozen veggies too I guess - may wait a while before doing that though, and fill it up with the inside freezer's contents (the freezer in the kitchen), first, and then defrost the kitchen fridge/freezer, whihc is a lot newer, and supprisngly well iced up too - wonm't put that out on the balcony though
in otter news, heart palpitations, sweating, muscle weakness, muscle pain, joint pain, cramp and brain fog/light headedness, and dizzyness. but asides that all is fine, and what passes for 'normal' in this strange universe.
oh, went out today, into town; having realised I don't own a single pair of trousers anymore.
Very depressing moment, as I took two pairs of my jeans, to the charity shop; 30" waists. I'll never get into them again, was wearing them if not at the start of last year, then at the end of the previous. - still keeping my 32" waist levis, which I was wearing even during chemotherapy last year, until about April I seem to recall when the steroid effect really got hold of me, and distroyed my body.- just in case, I can ever lose weight again, I've something to aim for, afterall
so, went into town to look for trousers...
looked at a few pairs... some jeans... some not jeans types.... then...
It was William's fault...
"oh, wow, look at this...."
a red full length, maxi dress sleeveless, and red, and.... on offer... only £14! and W said how much he liked it, and thought it'd suit me, and asked if he could buy it for me... so I said 'yes!'
so. never got any trousers by that point I was feeling so light headed and fainty and hot anyhow, didn't really want to spend any longer in shops, melting in th e heat
typing is getting painful as my wrists start hurting more for... dunno why ...
