2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Aug 19, 2015
That is, of course, biochemical, or biochemical/endocrinalogical warfare in my blood, body and brain. Specifically.... last night, - the oppertune moment of course, being those 8 hours I had planned on sleeping during.
As far as I can tell, the major protagonists in this biochemical battle, were;
Testosterone (100 MG intramuscular), possibly aided by hydrocortisone (20 MG tablets, split dose),
Versus Temazepam (10 MG tablet), aided and abetted by Melatonin (circadin, 2 Mg Tablet).
Really. very. odd.
The main upshot of this battle was, of course, that the Temazepam lost out, and I didn't sleep.
So. so. tired.
Good news, the female menapause hot flushes have stopped.
Bad news. they're replaced by Testosterone induced sort of hot flushes... -- quantitively and qualitively differnt, but, basic upshot, I get soaked in sweat, is the same.
Of even more excitingness, last night, well, early hours this morning, the battle was in full swing; I got both menapausal hot flushes, and* the testosterone ones!
Luckily, I think I've lost my marbles sufficiently now, that I really don't care anymore what happens to my body.
Seemed to have really bad aching joints and muscles, too, today, on finally getting out of bed (I think I slept, eventually, near dawn, for an hour or two).
Felt utterly stoned all day; I guess the affects of the temazepam not actually getting used for their 'intended' function, of making me sleep, just... make me wildly over chilled
on waking, went to get my laundry to put it in the washing machine.
picked up laundry bag, headbutted wooden headboard on bed.
Took laundry down, put it in the machine.
Chinned myself bending over to put laundry in machine.
Got washing machine running, went to go get morning hydrocortisone, slammed body into wall on way.
took drugs err, meds I mean.
made coffee.
Poured boiling water on to my hands.
had coffee, then toasted crumpets. with lots* of butter.
Meditated with white noise on headphones.
made a gorgeous 2 hen-egg omelette for lunch, with pain au levan bread, toasted, with butter.
took midday drugs.
meditated again.
Drank tea, at various times, then sorted otu the laundry, etc, most ran through the tumble dryer, but a couple of my blouses are still hanging up drying, they'll need ironing, which W does for me, as well. yeh. go on; imagine me trying to use an iron?!
err. anyhow, just took evening hydrocortisone, final dose. err, evening? afternoon, innit? yeh.
hmm. and now, I'm not quite sure I didn't accidentially take the final hydrocortisone half tablet, twice... oh well
Did some music recording this afternoon too. a sort of electronic guitar thing. its. odd. its, very odd in fact. sort of quite ... dunno. odd.
I wonder what new tortures they'll come up with next for my body, at the hospital...?
I really rather enjoyed the injection yesterday, way too much
other.... aspects of my body messed up by the abscent testosterone, are, as yet... to be tested Oddly, I'm kinda resigned to just being imputant, can't say I'm particularly bothered either way anymore, I just don't care...
I'm way way to chilled out right now... Think I'll go have some more jasmine tea...
but... this could be fun...
gona go try cook some wild rice... its a wild rice and pure basmati mix, that I sort of made myself.... higher wild rice ratio than the commercially availible versions of the same, and I've not a clue how long its gona take to cook, nor, really, how much water it might wanna eat up...
Hmm.
actually. thinking about it. I'm not sure I recall how to cook rice...
hmm.... i know I must have cooked it in the past, but, I just can't recall having done so, nor how I did do so...
Hmmm.... pah, can't be that hard I reckon...
