up at 6.30 to get to hospital for 9. walked there, weather was nice, but takes me ages to get my head working in the morning etc so hence was up so early.
so tired now.
Went to bed fairly early, but was kept awake hours by hot flushes. damn the menapause.
didn't help I took the sedative late, so that was still making me ffeel groggy on getting up
Even quicker now, getting myself into position on the machine, and getting locked to the bench and my mask locking my head to the metal table. so went through ultra quick
Went into day unit; strange sense, back in the chemo room!; went to have the port flushed, which didn't take long
Got bus back home, as we needed to be back; expecting window repair man anytime this afternoon to finally fix the two windows that don't open.
William just back from doing some shopping for us, so I could stay in in case window repair man turned up.
So tired. - less caused by the radiation I thin, than just all the trips too and back from hospital; well, yesterdays was quite late, 4 PM, so being back for the next at 9, wasn't realy much a gap inbetween! - sadly, despite all my argueing, I can't persuade them to do more than one zap at a time
added the 7th radiotherapy fractionation ribbon, to the ones already there, and to the ones there (all eight), from chemo.
so many ribbons now.
hungry. tired.

well; they're all three foot long.... err, 8 chemo, plus so fr 7 RT... is... 15 ribbons, i think... 15 times 3, is..... 345 foot of ribbons? - by the end, there'll be 15 RT ribons, and the 8 chemo... which is.. err.... twenty... something..... 23? 23 * 3 = 69! 69 foot of ribbons by the end of treatment! - no wonder its starting to feel heavy!; my hair is so not up to the job of supporting it all... - its very short and thin still but... I'm only doing treatment to entertain others, and we do keep getting comments by people up in oncoloby and radiology that W and I ' 'brighten up this place', and things like 'you two are always cheerful and laughing', - good job they don't get to hear some of ... the things we're saying to make each other laugh err.... like the 'big balls' nic name for o my haemotology consultant, shince she refued to look at my balls because she said she only looked at big ... swollen ones hmm. yeh. my life is truely this surreal
