h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Finally. after more than four years (William says its been in the hallway for all the time he's known me, so that must be like five years nearer possibly); all the computer junk lodger put in teh hallway, to get rid of; and then never got rid of.

I eventually found the number for the company who recycles it, round here, and phoned them, and they came today and collected it all.

As a bonus, they took the old computer chair, and empty cardboard boxes, lodger had also thrown on top.

I can now get to teh cupboard under the stairs, and the end cupboard, containing the electric meters; err... oops. guess I've not had my meter read in half a decade

so. much dust.

Had to gie in, and let William clear up teh first lot of dust, fdirt etc; lots and lots of cigarette butts (they blow in off the street), all gone.; still needs a proper clean; but that can wait, the wrose is gone. - with my immune system, I think that level of old dust inhalation would have ... been a very bad idea....

cooked lunch for W and I , as he'd got here before the junk was collected, so we ate, before they turned up.

Went into town, got some grocerys, and then came back here to dump them off...

We were going to go up to the out of town shopping bit, but, I just came over too tired... - not entirely sure why/what, probably just I've done so much the past few days, but I have been bouncing, and, of course I was up at 7, after going to bed, probably about 2.30 last night

So, william's gone to get the bus home; he's back tomorrow, afternoon anyhow, to stay over, as we've my appointment with GP Friday.

If I can get booked into just a few more differnt clinics at teh hospital, I think I'll have covered just about every disaplin - now seem to have appointments for two seperate eye clinics endochrinology, oncology, radiation... etc... etc... Bit mythed my next endochrinology appointment isn't until November... but I kinda know what I'm gona do with self-regulating reduced hydrocortisone post- radiation, I think... afterall; its not brain science or, indeed, astrophysis.... ahh, no its not... its endochrinology.... of course

damnit. should have just gone out again, done the other bits of shopping, I'm probaly not as tired as I thought... but... hmm. maybe.

Must do something useful. maybe go clean hallway. or... collapse with another cup of tea..

Actually, I think part the reason for the tiredness, coming on, was just the chemo drugs, working... 0- sort of sitting down, having some tea, before we decided if we'd go do the other bits of shopping or not, and I ... kinda noticed I could feel stuff; guess I'm just blocking/used to it, so don't notice half the time... - all on my right side, in the long bones... dacarbazine having fun with my bone marrow... Think it was the dacarbazine, anyhow, I could feel it in some of my blood vessels, the same sort of ... buzzing noise as I got last infusion, when they pumped it in... - tried explaining the feelings in my blood vessels to the nurse there.. but.. I really think she just thought I'd lost the plot of something

Still very odd with the jasmin tea; scent I can pick up, texture I get, and then I get alll the synesthesia 'tastes', but, I don't think actually must taste taste... which is kinda weird... kinda cool... sort of tasting it just by its 'colours' which clearly do come from its scent, more than taste, directly


Think I'll go have some more tea, then go re-do the wiring at the back of the HiFi, tidy and neaten that, so its not so lethally an tangled... W liked the way I'd rearranged the bedroom hope to order up the new bed tomorrow, if we make it finally, to the out of town shopping bit; plus still need my new trousers, of velvet, or perhaps chord... cord... but only if they're... truely epic trousers, of course that'll teach my oncologist. ... hmm. maybe buy some new knickers too... she was very..... condascending of my knickers... - but, maybe that is because I'm in size 12, and she's probably ..... double that Oh... dear... I'm sure I don't recall 'camp' or 'bitchy' being sone of the side-affects of the ABVD they mentioned

Oh. and my new nail files arried today... at last they're curved ones not sure why though... hmmm.

Probably salad for dinner later.... I think. and Must eat some of the fruit I got today err... and , in otter news... I'm just being well-behaved, obedient, and angelic. of course. err, all the time. of course. not misbehaving at all. never. no. not me. not even the slightst merest, inkling of a thought of even having a thought of thinking of thinkging about even the merest glimmer of a though of doing so. not me. Oh no. no misbehaviou at all. none. zilth.

Right. time for a cup of loverly, orange, blue/purple, red, jasmine tea

for my forgetting the second part of the title; acoustics; wow!; hallway acoustics, so changed; but, its changed them een on the floor above; not having the junk down there; just into the front room in fact... - maybe even futher into the house, not checked yet all that junk... gone... enough to change the acoustics! = must hae a play round with the Hifi, kinda cool having a new set of speakers up (the 70's celestion dittons that I restored ; still need to rebuild fronts at some point though/the grills)

All good news! But the best bit is the possibility of epic trousers! It reminded me of Prince George in Blackadder, not wanting to be caught wearing boring trousers if the Scarlet Pimpernel turned up.

yes; I think there is where I misquoted the saying from... 0- I'd hate to be found wearing boring trousers! - in the end, today, bought two pairs; not actually over fasinating ones; I may yet buy the velvet, goth black claired trousers I saw online (pretty sure they're a female, but... like I care...) - today bought some Levi trousers (yeh, didn' even know they did trousers, thought they were just jeans; green; and really soft cotton matterial!), and a pair of black denum jeans (err, not so tight as my female skinny fit levis I normally wear ) = actually the jeans are like a slight stretch to the matterial, which is kinda odd but a decent dark balck, and not utterly vast in the bottom department so they're able to cop with my non-existant bottom - oddly... not being skinhy fit jeans, I can get them over my swollen calf muscles damnit... - was trying to not give in to buyin gnew cloths, just because I was a bit ill; sort of put on weight with steroids W here and we're about to get Chinese for dinner... oh, and ordered the bed earlier and new matress being delivered Tuesday, - I'll assemble the bassee I'm an expert.... I think then its clinic weds to find out about radiation GP tomorrow I'm getting fed up with hospitals
