2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Apr 3, 2015
doing a 'little bit of tidying', to be followed by a 'little bit of cleaning', in my bedroom
I always find it easier having a clear mind, when one's physical environs are equally clear... clutter free.... tidy... clean...
damn but I've kept some..... rubbish
just sorting the shelf/topbox bit of the wardrobe, where I keep 'stuff', mainly cosmetic stuff, hairbrushes, moisturisers, body butters, coconut oil, lip butter, cuticle oil pens, foot moisturisers, and creams, and, a few little boxes with 'stuff' in. and, some other junk, apparently....
Now having a tea break, actually tea ought be brewed now. and, also I've been put on 'door duty', as lodger's gone out; adn we're due two packages to arrive today; oo!- one, just arrived; unless I'm much mistaken, the new doorbell as the old one bust (hence why I was on door duty and had to be downstairs, to hear door).
threw out a ton of decreptid useless hairbands that I'd clearly just thrown in at some point, and discovered some bottles of aftershave
aftershave? err.... I'm not even sure I've ever used aftershave..... they must be.... so* old into the bin
usefully, found a littel bag, containing buttons, which, unless I'm much mistaken, look/feel idetnicle to the ones on my leather coat, which is now missing buttons; I'm guessing maybe I bought them at some point, for the idea of replacing the existing buttons; plus my ultra cool idea, of addding an extra, reversed, top button (would have to make suitable button hole, natch), so that looks useful
I love housework, and tidying things. its so... nice... hard to describe really.
also found my ... err... electric shaver thigngy, which I rarely use... err... strickly speaking I think its like a ladyshave thing, for one's legs but I'm guessing that might prove useful for any other areas one needs to shave at any point
- hunted about found its bag, and 'accruitiments' and put that all together, so its neat and organised and not taking up so much space, err, then I threw the bag, with it all in.... into teh bottom drawer of the set of drawers....
also found... a tubberware style box... full of... comdons err... I'm guessing they're most likely destined for the bin too... I can't recall getting them so no idea what the date on em might be
oo!
the really cute, little carved, wooden box, I bought, from like way back in err... when I was at Uni... circa 1998 maybe...... or even 97 which I've seemingly stuffed full of plectrums, and bannanna connectors and collar bones/things for shirt collars, whatever they're called
emptied it, and found new, more sensible homes for other items in it, and threw some bits of rubbish out...
its a tiny perfect little box....
just perfect....for.... putting something small into it...
a cute little perfect box...
for putting into it a cute small perfect little thing....
or... maybe two things...
awww... so cute... a little box... for the new gorgeous jade pendant/necklace I recieved and I think, perhaps also, maybe my chainmail anklet, with the bells on hmm,,,, guess I'll get one of the little cloth bags I've got, to put one in, inside the box, so they don't get tangled up....
really... I probably need a special chainmail jewlaery box or soemthing
gradually whittling down the rubbish in the topbox/shelf and soon as its cleared of junk can actually clean in it
then reconstruct its contents into a more logical, organised and useful set of things
have the larger, cool box we got from charity shop, a while back; that will house the cuticle oil pens, lip butter, small bits like that; plus, I'm thinking; it'll be a perfect bath bomb and bath melt storage box ; then I can clear them, off of the shelf above... and tidy that shelf too
after that.... I may have to sort the bottom odrawer of the set of drawers.... but... TBH that's still a scarey prospect its.... really got all kinds of everything in it.... but, also I know has a lot of stuff I wanna keep, and quite an extensive collection of neatly ish organised, albeit somewhat disregarded items of clothing that are probably due an outing.... oo... actually I'm guessing all the decent stockings are hiding in there too, somewhere
right... time for a cuppa tea jasmine.... of course, though I could have had the green tea.... taht's got an interesting flavour/synesthesia-colour to it, too

Ah, tidiness & order. I'm decorating at the moment and the contents of my dining room and my spare double bedroom/dressing room and strewn around the rest of the house pending carpets being laid on Tuesday. It's a nightmare of chaos and disorder.
The powers that be who lurk the internet looking out for key words must be having a field day with your posts recently, all those bath bombs There's nothing like a long soak in a really hot bubble bath to soothe your muscles and your mind.

The bath last night, was my most epic zen one yet
--
don't forget, baths are like a really new discovery for me... asides having a bath in the hotel in Manchester back in the summer (asides; wow... that bath was so coolll.... wish mine was like that...), I've only ever used my bath here, for showering (has shower over), until recently.... and...
so only like recently discovered how amazing they can be.... hot hot hot.... and then all the scents and oils and stuff in teh hand made bath bombs... relaxing the bits of me that are aching... which... TBH, at the moment, is every bit of my body, including some bits I wasn't previously aware I had
and... then adding teh bath melt too..... oo... the oils... scents... the oatmeal.... the ... sof soft skin
they're so gorgeous
well, bedroom sort of done, about as much as I'll get done today I reckon; was distracted helping try get the new doorbell working - we think we've broken it - plus I was up so late today...
2 bath bombs, (actually one is ... not quite a bath bomb I thin..... can't recall what it was called though ), plus one bath melt left I wonder if Lush is open tomorrow
bath bombs/melt in the cool box we got from teh charity shop, along with the cuticle oil pens, and hidden at the bottom, all my spare, unused hairbands, which, err, I probably won't have any use for, for a while
lot more space on that shelf; so I've got my 'bits' all organised out neater and easier to find, hairbrushes, coconut oil, moisturisers etc ... - I really need a seperate walk in dressing room TBH and my bedroom here is way too small anyhow
hmm... more requirements for a new house..../appartment.... bigger bedroom.... walk in dressing room... en-suite.... large, full sized bath, (maybe Camnbridge style bath), or simular....
can't belive its like 5 already... today's just vanished - up so late, now would be about the time I took the second, small doze of hydrocortisone, but, actually, only just took the first small dose (after morning big dose), like about an hour ago.... - makes more sense mind, to shift mine about; I don't exactly keep regular 7 AM - midnight daytime timescales... - so I can take the second smaller dose, later on, after dinner, and then won't get the mid-evening (well my mnid-evenign) drop in energy,; can push back that fall in energy, so maybe it comes neaerer the actual time I start thinking about winding down, and head towards bedrimte, circa 2 - 3 AM
Mind, you think I'm bad... my lodger was up until 5 AM this morning, after his gig gaming i was like, for once, actually asleep.... - I seem to be doing more of the sleeping thing, since the last chemo....
also feeling a bit more boyant today... as... the post-chemo few days of... being... less than err. regular have seemingly passed a bit hmmm... #TMI
so... much... for my finding time, at some point, to ... misbehave.... unless.... of course... I do that later... there is one gift yet left, from the package, containing three that arrives from Sweden... and I've yet.... to ... err... do anything with that gift
at least I threw some cash into the bank, yesterday; I can't totally* overspend at Lush on the next trip and, actually, I won't bath tonight, so the two bombs, and one melt, oughta last until after the weekend, easily anyhow just a shower tonight I think... and no need to wash ... the remaining hair again, as I did that well last night, and... having less hair... it doesn't actually need a wash every day
MMM.... bonus!- having quit smoking... and my sense of smell having got notched up till 11, my hair still smells of the coconut shampoo from last night

too scarey! - I opened the bottom drawer... and looked in it... struth.... You'd think ... gosh... what... an.... I mean... I know... I'm kinda into... certian things... but... there's stuff in there... that's... well... I'm not sure I recall getting/buying... and ... really ain't.... stuff I@m 'in to' as it were and... anyhow... I really.... really... don't think... soem of them would fit me even with my reduced waist of recent years what. was. I think......in.... not much... apparently on whatever day/s it was I bought some of those I recon.... I could just about throw the entire drawer contents away... adn not risk throwing anything overly of use/function/want away in the process so. much. junk. I hate clutter... and ... yet... this place is stuffed full of rubbh..... rubbish... admitildy most is lodgers... but I've accumulated so much junk.... damnit.... must clea that dawer out, before I buy any* more clothing... of any* description
trip to Lush oughta be on the cards for tomorrow... more bath bombs and melts I think... and... dunno... maybe soemthing else too... not gone beyond their bathbom and melts yet, I think...
may. randomly. or not. have to visit mothercare or soemwhere simular tomorrow seriously...... see if I can find a sutiable hammock/storage thing for all my teddy's
spent ages earlier. just cuddling the unicorn (that's the one I've put a slave/submissive collar on, a pink sparkly collar), awww. just cuddling it for ages... and kinda... daydreaming and stuff... and... turning aching bits of me into pretty colours in my head until they vanished for a while at least , should have probably tried doze/nap back then, but... had stuff to do...
just finished the second litre bottole of smoothy I bought a couple days ago heck, I even ate a couple handfuls grapes today, in addition to teh lettuce and cucumber with teh pasta earlier Hope William's feeling better tomorrow, I'm so risking infection as I think he's had /has soem kind of cold... but... the other day... he really didn't seem very well... and I don't think it was just the cold... some kind of shock/panic thing, I think... and all my fault and... I shoudl be there, looking after him, anyhow...t aht's my damn job... and I can't even go overly close to him at the moment, due to risk of infection but, he was sounding cheeerier at least, earlier when we spoke I think he's starting to get worn out by me, and this silly being a bit ill thing I'm doing... its so unfair on him damnit... as he's having to do so much stuff for me, - I'm trying to ease it, reduce the number of days he's here, but, even then, I think he's half spending his time when not here, just worrying anyhow... gona haave try tackle that bottom drawer again tomrrow... or... or... I won't be able to buy this gorgeous ... set of ... ... stuff I saw online
and I so need some more chainmail....

I started to declutter the kitchen yesterday but didn't get too far. I did "recycle" a few items I have an art student in the house who spreads her clutter far and wide
Teddy storage is a problem. I keep mine in a pink rafia basket

Unusual button idea, useful especially for cold weather, but otherwise as well, front to back crotch button for white cotton undershirts to prevent them from riding up, exposing the midriff.

Loony cat; I'm kinda thinking, as there is little floor/fsuirface space in my bedroom, I really need 'raised up' teddy storage, ence maybe the hammock idea ; just so I can clear them all off the bed periodically and clear the surfaces, to dust before sweping each day at the moment.... teddy-movement throughout the bedroom, over the course of a day, takes up so much time... its like an animal migrtation migration each time they move from... the top of the hifi... to the bed... then to teh drawers, then to top of the speakers
oo. everything all wobbly this morning.... was a ..... fun time making it to teh bathroom then down the staircase witheverything not standing still about me hopeflyy that will pass soon... got stuff todo........ up so* late must go drink coffee

well... I've ...
err,
seven animals in the menagerie I think so far...
they're all like about 18 or 20 inchs tall/high!-
from memory, I have...;
bee.
ladybird.
unicorn.
bear
frog
cow
err.... oh, and
penguine
-
I'm gona buy more....
but... but...
I've heard a rumour...
they do even bigger ones, versions of the same!- I particularly love the bee and ladybird... -
they're the ones that I end up, cuddling all night long, the bee, and the ladybird, clutched to my chest, my arms/hands around them...
the other ones, sort of.... entirely shroud my body in teddy-bear-plus-soft-toy-softness- also, a lot sit behind me, and kinda act as cushions, against my back;a nd sometimes I use them to rest other hurting bits on...
- there is barely any room now for me in the bed - need a bigger bed ; only I'd need a bigger bedroom for that
-
oh, and of course, I've still got the rabbit; given to me by a girlfriend, back when I was 17, and in hospital after my first brain hemorridge
oh!
how cool is that?!-
I can now actually say "my first brain hemorridge"- given that I kinda had a second one a month or two back
how epic
I really must go find some... breakfast/lunch, given that its nearly 2 PM.... - so gonna have to try re-align my sleeping, the next few days, as I'll have early starts on Thursday (PET scan), and Friday (thursdays chemo put back a day)
oo!
see. told ya I was indestructible ; just finally* got lettter from consultant, about last chemo, and it had my bloods on it... not doing too bad on the bloods at all
must go find food though

ah you speak of the jumbo pillow pets (jumboz on the official site...) and they do have some very cute looking ones
zen
2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Apr 4, 2015
Yep! they're the ones... I'm addicted to the smaller 18" variety (which I have thus far 7 of)...
I'm thinking though... the big ones... they're so* big! I can't .... really justify the cost of having more than one.... and... mor esensibly; I don't think I've the room for more than one! not sure which to get.... so so so tempted though
all at a loss what to do now...
bit early for dinner.
too late for a nap... and I'm not relaly tired, just ... fatigued to and moderately in pain and sort of.... brain foggy but boared... with no concentration.....
have an epic bath plan for later more bombs... melts... and maybe some additional coconutneyness ... - sod it... I might go clean kitchen, it'd do with a good hard bleaching and mop etc... but... which jumboz pet to get

OO... the panda would be a differnt one to what I've got... but the've got a jumob/jumoz sized one, ladybird and I do already like the littlier 18" ladybird one... but... the pa panda would be differnt... and... they've got em at half price now... and...
damnit.
I'm a princess! and now not just a #bondageprincess but a #chemoprincess to boot.... and they're half price... and ... which? which?
both! yeeeeeeeeees so . so. tempted.... but... nearly forty quid on more teddys where the eck would I put them... or... perhaps... more to the point... wher the eck woudl I sleep... I'd not have any bed left to get into##1 !

no! I've got it! <,boing>
get rid of the bed entirely; just the m matress left, on teh floor, and then, the entire surface of the matress, and the floor, covered in pillow pets! and... just lavishly sleep on.... in.... over... under pillow pets! a bed... of* pillow pets! awww... itlll be.... gorgeous.
damnit.
I'm gona have to order the large versions..... panda and ladybird/bug I think... it has to be... - afterall; even for both its probably less than I used to spend a week on cigarettes a ... couple months back hmmm. hang on... but... I'm already spending virtually all of the cigarette money, now, at shops making hand made cosmetic products
another gorgeous bath tonight
chey butter soap, to start, plus one of my new purple flannels
well, no. actually;
lots and lots of hot water to start, then the bath bomb
fizzing away and filling the air with aeroma all spicey and ... loverly and warm scents... (not sure w which bomb that one was),
then me getting into the bath..... and realising my hands still don't pick up temp right
OK. then after I'd put some cold in.... and taken the temp down from circa 70 Degrees celcius
then the chey butter soap
then the bath melt with its oats, frankenscence, rose absolute, jasmine that... they... are... amazing....
hmm. the melt and bomb.. probably mor ethan the cost of a pack of cigarettes
then... (and quite why I'm bothering), ; coconut shampoo and coconut conditioner
and.. damnit!; where is the logic in my haing to still shave my chin/stubble you'd think... one of the benifits of chemo should be...
so....
an hour later... and I'd got out... adn tidied up... and cleaned the oil and junk out of the bath tub need a bigger bath... and... my bath isn't level enough its not damn fitted right

This bathing thing sounds like it's all getting very complicated! As does the bed situation!
zen
2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Apr 4, 2015
Oh. it is. very.
and... well, I'm leaving out the really complicated bits;
which bath bomb do I chose.... or do I go for a bubble bar, instead of a bomb.... or a bath bolista.... and... then which melt... actually that's quite easy... I adore this one melt, so* much but, then, of course, is the question, of do I shower, before a bath, and get the coconut exfoliating scrub into action, pre-bath?
and, then, if I do that, do I shave, then, and do my hair then... or not.... - there is, something to be said, for, I beieve, total bath submersion; getting some of the bath bomb oils, etc onto ones hair; certainly softer than just conditioning would normally do...
then... of course... one has to wonder... why the am I bothering so much with my hair... seeing as I can't see me having any within a month
then, of course, its not just the bath itself;
once bathed.... do I then moisturise, on top of the moisturisation given by the melt?
and, if I do.... do I go for coconut oil.... coconut butter.... or coco butter... or coco body butter... and, do I do that, before, or after, doing my nails, and using the almond oil cuticle oil pen? heck, do I do the cuticle oil pen, on my cuticles, before or after I moisturise my hands... ....
and, then, of course, what do I use on my feet.... the gorgeous lemongrass moisturiser, or the.......
damn. I've too much time on my hands and..... I've spent way too much on.... 'product'
err, so says the person, on the laptop, currently using coco butter, on his hands (but then I can legit say that's a treatment; as they chemo has really nackered my hands up..... one way and another )
