you seem to forget you must respect all flora and fauna.
my dislike is only for people who hurt animals, children and seniors.
on the scale of 100. I grade this 1000.
I have being pesronilaty. I see beauty in flora and fauna, but I do not realy scale them.
I am glad I am alive. I was on egde of death January 1997 when I was diagnosed with diabetes. I walked around with diabetes without knowing it. my weight was reduced 45kg (100lbs) while with length I should be 75 kg (165lbs) and had complications to eyes and feet.
I need to be positive other wise I might "drown" again.

Be what you have to be pheloxi!
Sounds like you respect the danger of your condition while consciously focusing on beauty.

Then I will conceed that your understaning and my understandings differ, and as such we may never agree to this point.
Hey it's bad when natures taking pot shots at you, worse when it's your body killing it's self. and then it's very scary when your own mind want to take the leap. I leave the beauty up to those who see no shades, and I leave the respect to my mind, for it has many evaluations to conceed before such actions could be granded.

Their Beauty has more Meaning
Yesterday morning enormous the moon hung low on the ocean,
Round and yellow-rose in the glow of dawn;
The night-herons flapping home wore dawn on their wings.
Today
Black is the ocean, black and sulphur the sky,
And white seas leap. I honestly do not know which day is more beautiful.
I know that tomorrow or next year or in twenty years (I'll add about 35)
I shall not see these things- and it does not matter, it does not hurt;
They will be here. And when the whole human race
Has been like me rubbed out, they will still be here: moon and ocean,
Dawn and the birds. And I say this: their beauty has more meaning
Than the whole human race and the race of birds.

I like image the poem creates
...it reminds of Kurosawa's dreams and Mishima

I have just heard of two more suicides.
A man hung himself last week. Why?
He left a daughter and girlfriend.
The girlfriend hung herself, and left the 3 year old
ALONE...
How can you talk of beauty at times like this?
Did you say you were from the Netherlands? Or maybe you're really from
Le Touquet? Or maybe Italy? Egypt?

I am from the Netherlands.
your posting saddens me, but I can not be responsible for what happens to some one else. some people make choices. people have to make their own choices. I have make my own choices. you have to make your own choices.
I do care about what happens in the world, but I also need to see the beauty.

DoctorMo.
(I bet this comes out the wrong way) - do you only see that bad in life?
(See I told you that would come out wrong - not good with words you see)

I wish I could see the world through Pheloxi's eyes, metaphorically speaking...his view of life is so much nicer and more peaceful than mine

some proof is that when smile you use more mussles than when you are sad. the more of your body you use the better you feel
warning: build it upp slowly, because overdoing result in painfull parts

it's very hard to disagree with statments like that. so I won't.
Friendship is a very powerfull force, but least is it nice to look at, but to be within. Perhaps you mistake beauty for joy?
Vicky I am not sure of your comments and how they relate to my post.

simulepost,
It's the other way round, you use less muscels smiling, so it's a more relaxing mode to put your face in.

That's OK DoctorMo.
I don't know how you work yet - I have not spoken to you very much since I started on hootoo.
I know how pheloxi works - I also happen to share the same sort of views as him.
Each person has their own views on things. I just don't know you yet.
if I appear to be, damn whats the word I want,
nope, can't think of it.
It will come to me soon.

Thanks Vicky, I'm sure we'll get to know each other.
Pheloxi - how can that be, Joy can come from beauty, not a form of.
