blister packaging is a lot less good mother nature, than card boxes.
another thing bateries not included that is ok, because included bateries are often bad quality, but sales person should tell the buyer so the buys add few bateries with the presents.
I one time bought lamp included a lamp that stopped working after 7 hrs and blew out all the fusses. the sales person knew that. in stead of removing bad lamp they let me come back. I got free new one tho. still bad sales person!

I am always torn on environmentally productive choices, like which is easier to recycle, cardboard or plastic, and if the chemicals used to make plastic are more harmful than the cutting down of trees for paper products. It seems no matter what we choose we hurt something. If we use paper plates we save water for washing but waste trees. It is mindblowing how just existing ruins our pretty planet. On the battery note, I agree about the crappy quality of batteries included. I have a real problem with light bulbs, though. They never ever last as long as they ought to. I seem to be changing them every couple months in certain lamps instead of every couple years like they promise. Do you think I have faulty lamps? I heard ghosts sap the energy from lights, so maybe it is just my haunted old house.

Finger nail clippers can be a bit safer than scissors and work nearly as well with tight fitting plastic or cutting through tape.
There are scissors without pointed ends available too. They are common for removing bandages and personal care on curvy parts, some are slightly curved ,some straight.
Poor pooch! I do not understand why some people have pets
