Douglas Adams gone ?

Post 1

Perfectlynormalbeast

I read the HHG to the G in 1979 and then waited, and waited for the sequals - all worth waiting for and all linked to an important phase
of my life and all have had an impact on my attitude to life. As I write I'm listening to the LP version of Restaurant at the End of the
Universe and finding new things out about it - again. Three authors
have really "hit" me over the last 41 years - Tolkien, Nobbs (as in Reginald Perrin) and Adams. I never met the man and yet I feel I have shared some of my life with him - I miss you Douglas.

Zarniroop (er.... I'll think of something amusing to put here soon!)

Hi John!

Liked your username!

That's why I ended up here in the land of the king!

It's a sad loss that many people here share, tho we're starting to, tho quite probably never will, get over the loss of DNA.

Hope you stick around, explore and contribute to fulfilling the amazing vision he had of the guide.

If you go to edit page on your space you can say a few words about yourself (or anything else really!) And someone will come along and officially say HI! and give you a few pointers on what to do around here!

Z.
