And I don't know why. I wish I knew what I did, and what I can do to help fix the problem. Or am I just being overly paranoid, selfish, and all along those lines? How do I determine that?

I think paranoia is overated, you just end up paranoid
Just remember everything and everyone changes, nothing is static, it's not a reflection on you, or anyone else, it's all just part of life
