I recently got myself a copy of the sophtware slump...bloody good album. However, I've only just made the connection between your name and the song title. I suppose i should have done so before, really.

Ah well...we can't all be geniuses i guess.
And yeah..I think (with the exception of Radiohead) Sophtware Slump is one of the best new albums of recent year..and definitely one of my finest discoveries of this year. Its best point is the way that all the songs blend in to one whole that is even better than the sum of its parts (which is pretty damn good on its own really), while remaining completely unique within each songs...its practically an operatic album the way the songs work together.
I reccomend the album 'Under the Western Freeway' as well. Its not quite as good..and doesn't hang together quite as well..but includes three of my favourite all time Grandaddy songs, 'AM180', 'Summer Here Kids' and 'Everything Beautiful is Far away'.
Oh..and thanks for stopping by
