But take a look at the PATHETIC amount of English businesses signed up.
If you run a business, or want to get your business involved too, please do so.

Have this in my inbox from wwf already Matt, but thanks for reminding me. Do I really want to look at the number of businesses who have signed up?

I've signed up, but I'm not a business. However, with the power of the (or keystrokes) I'll also write a journal to spread the word a little more.

Sorry ben - it's just lights if you want, but you can go the whole hog for the full hour - and get other people to as well in your area, then you'll get grid 'cold' spots so to speak...

Would itbe ethically acceptable to just cut the power cables in my area at eight o' clock on the night in question?

As long as you wear gloves and rubber-soled boots, I don't see why not. Although I'm not advocating such eco-vandalism. Really I'm not...

It wasn't my idea, someone hacked into my h2g2 id and said it. I am totally opposed to all forms of such action, oh yes.
Does that cover me?

I've signed up and when the time comes, I'm going to pull the mains to my house and sit out back with an and watch the stars come out. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

Tumsup,
It would certainly be nice to see the night sky again as it used to look. Most of ours is orange now

Hacking powerlines, I'm telling you, it's the only option.
I do not endorse the aforesaid remark.
