I find no joy with things at present. Except my family. I wish there was a way I could earn money and stay at home with my family. *sigh*

Matt, have you considered buying a spinning wheel for every kid and getting them to make wooley hats? That way, not only would you not lose money by staying at home, you'd make more because you'd be there to make sure they work fast enough.
Just a thought.

@ KB - A grand thought, perhaps a bit TOO grand
Elentari - no luck as of yet, awaiting to hear back from a museum about a position
Thanks everyone for the knid words

Hi Matt, how's it going?
That's strange, I was just thinking today that I wish I didn't have to work full time (or at all) so I could spend my time doing what I wanted.
The only suggestions I have is either write a hit book/film/play and live off the royalties or invest in either properties or shares or both and live off the passive income. I'm thinking about investing in properties but I don't think I've got the means to do it yet.

I think I'll write a bestseller or six, like that Rowling woman. That'll do it nicely.
