h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am torn between wanting Wednesday to arrive and not wanting it to arrive. On the one hand they are serving Potato Soup (Which I can hardly ignore), but on the other I have three exams...I think I'll just have the soup.

But, right now I am quite thirsty, I think I'll have a Gin & Tonic.

Thank-you *sip* - I have 3 exams on Wednesday, which probably isn't all that good - English, and two psychology A -levels. I am happy about the English exam (I think I can pass) - the psychology is another matter though!

Ah well, exams don't bother me too much - especially when I have a G&T!

YAY!!! for English!!! What are you in school to study!?? In other words, what do you want to be when you grow up!??

Well this will be the end of my first year in college, I do 4 a-levels (well, a/s levels - but they're pretty much the same thing) and at the end of it all I'm not going to Uni, I'm going to California (hopefully).

There is a 'school of magic' there, which will help me improve my chances of success as a professional magician (!) - but before I go I'm taking a year out - I'll start my business to earn some money. If the business is sucessful I may have to postpone California for a bit - but i'll still go.

I'm taking the A-levels to give me something to fall back on if it all goes wrong (I'm trying not to think about that!).

Are you at work or are you doing something else?

California. Cool. I know a kid(ok, he's only a year or two younger than me!!!) who wants to go there for Film School. Best of luck to you both!!!

I know how it feels to have to have something to fall back on. I'm a writer, but but but!!! I want to officially get paid for my creativity... and admittedly, I haven't done any work on my own writing for too long now. But that's because I'm a student and I have a job, too... so there!!!

I'm studying Writing, obviously, and my minor(currently) is history!!! YAY!!!

So you do BOTH then, actually - I don't know why I'm surprised, I work in a pub and I'm a student. I write a bit - sadly not for money, my most recent er...story...is titled 'The rabbit watches you constantly' and I also, quite recently wrote 'Life: from the point of view of a rather depressed banana.' It was quite difficult trying to relate to a piece of fruit.

A friend of mine is going to film school as well - he may go to California, but probably more likely to be Australia.

Just out of interest - are you living in GB or USA?

I think I'm in neither GB or the US... but physically, I'm in Colorado-- USA!!! YAY!!!

Exams are over!! -Well those three are anyway... They seemed to ask all the right questions - but if i hear anything more of Freud's Psychodynamic model I may scream.

Colorado physically - where mentally? I am physically in a small city called Salisbury - mentally I am somewhere else - Alpha Centuri would be good at the moment - At least i wouldn't have to worry about exams.
