Some of the things we learned in 2006...

A python was the first god worshipped by mankind, according to 70,000-year-old evidence found in a cave in Botswana's Tosodilo hills.

Sleeping in on Saturday and Sunday can disturb your biological clock, leaving you fatigued at the start of the (w*rk) week.

A 145-million-year-old, beach ball-sized meteorite found a half-mile below a giant crater in South Africa has a chemical composition unlike any known meteorite

Ancient humans from Asia may have entered the Americas following an ocean highway made of dense kelp.

And our beloved PM here in Oz has stated that he would be quite happy ti have a nuclear power plant built next door to his place...yes, we know he has a "few roos looses in the top paddock"...smiley - laugh

However, as his home is located on the Leafy North Shore of Sydney, an expensive area in anyones language, I think his neighbours may have something to say about it.

smiley - cheers and Happy New Year...smiley - magic

P.S Did you read or hear about the amber found in Far North Queensland?
I will try to find the article.
